Blog » Get Bronze eBay Powerseller Status in 90 Days

Every so often we come across an opportunity to make money that sets our eyes alight and makes our collective hearts beat faster. We believe the Ninety Day Powerseller package could be the best prospect we've seen this year. SaleHoo Customers - Get your 30% discount to the Ninety Day Powerseller here!
It would be fair to say that when looking for something to sell on eBay, most of us are guilty of focusing solely on physical products. Meanwhile eBay Powerseller John Thornhill has been quietly raking in the dough selling electronic ebooks to an eager market most of us didn't even know existed! He believes there is a huge gap in the market for information products on eBay, and accordingly, developed a business package that allows you to replicate his success exactly.
When I first checked out the Ninety Day Powerseller site, I was particularly impressed with this guy's transparency. We've all come across products offering a way of making millions on eBay overnight, but this is the only one I've seen who is willing to share his username so we can check for ourselves whether there is weight behind the words! As I write this, John has more than 12,000 feedbacks for his user account, so it's pretty obvious he's doing something right.
The Ninety Day Powerseller business model is quite simple: all it involves is selling ebooks on a wide variety of topics such as cooking, making money and natural healthcare. You don't need to be a writer to take this opportunity, nor do you need eBay experience. It's a model that works equally as effectively for new sellers as it does for the more experienced.
If you're new to eBay then all the tools and guidance you need to start selling are included in the package. Auction and website template, flash banners, marketing strategies and listing advice are all at your disposal – and so is John for that matter. He promises to give people all the support they need to be successful.
The more I think about it, the more this idea makes sense. After all, a huge proportion of people use the Internet to find information: the number of people searching for ‘how to' is almost as high as the number of people searching for ‘buy' each month.
eBooks are also very affordable, making them ideal impulse purchases. Price varies depending on the length and quality (usually between £3 ($6) and £25 ($50)), but even at the upper end of the scale, people don't need to think too hard about the purchase before they click through to buy.
I've seen many a new seller fall into the often fatal trap of not taking costs into consideration when they choose something to sell. Shipping, packaging, Customs, Paypal and eBay fees can all add up – alarmingly so in some case –easily wiping out a significant chunk of profit, especially for higher-priced items. What I love about this model is that there are no costs apart from Paypal and eBay fees. You don't even have to buy the product you are selling because it's all part of the package!
This is all very well and good, but there is one other thing I particularly want to mention as I'm afraid some people may not realize the full potential. It's Part 3 of the package on affiliate marketing.
For those of you who've never heard of affiliate marketing before, this is where you promote someone else's website and earn a commission every time a visitor buys through your link. Commission can sometimes be as high as 85% of the price, which makes it a tidy little earner. And continuing with the automated style of the ebook model, affiliate marketing can also be largely automated. Once set up, it keeps ticking away on its own bringing you in sales.
I want you to read the affiliate marketing section thoroughly - several times if necessary. Affiliate marketing is an exceptional way of improving your income and I wouldn't be surprised if you actually end up earning as much as, or even more than you make from selling ebooks.
It's pretty obvious that the Ninety Day Powerseller is a business model that works; however, I'm going to offer a note of caution. You will only get out of this opportunity what you put into it. For most people, bronze seller status is not going to happen after 90 days. This is not the fault of the package; it's simply that many people won't do enough work to get the results.
Yes, this is easy; yes, all the tools you need are given to you. But unfortunately, the Ninety Day Powerseller doesn't come with its own operator to get it up and running (not yet anyway). My suggestion: if you are struggling to squeeze time into your day to do this, schedule in one hour a day in your diary that must be solely devoted to this opportunity. When you get used to that, make it two. If you really want to make this work, you'll find a way.

Hi Robert - This post is an old one yes, but John Thornhill has completely updated his product since we made his post. As to why he is selling this information - well, quite simply because there is demand for it! Wouldn't you if you were in his position? :) He also continues to sell on eBay too, as far as I know.
Robert
This post sucks, so out dated and confusing, contradicting information. Why is he selling you this information if he is making so much money selling ebooks?

Since eBay no longer allows sale of Digital Products , for me eBooks are a no-no.

As a relative newby to all this the above comments have left me in a complete state of confusion. How is anyone expected to sort the wheat from the chaff?

Hi Garrett,
The 90 Day Powerseller isn't just one eBook but a large resource containing a number of components including a bunch of eBooks you can resale, an ecommerce website, and extensive video tutorials and written guides. Yes, you could just download a few free eBooks, but you wouldn't be getting the advice on how to market them effectively online, which is where much of the value of this product lies. The 90 Day Powerseller product has been entirely revamped since this review, so it's now even better than ever.
Regarding SaleHoo's suppliers: our manufacturers aren't middlemen. All our suppliers are genuine manufacturers, drop shippers, wholesalers and liquidators.
DHGate is a fantastic resource, but you certainly do need to use it cautiously and we don't recommend people use it to buy branded products. However, it's a great place to get good quality no-brand items and the sheer range of products on offer is second to none.
In fact, 99% of all brand name products coming out of China are fakes. Going to the manufacturers via Alibaba doesn't necessarily mean you'll get the real thing - you need to do a heck of a lot of homework asking questions, viewing the documentation proving authenticity and making sure that the supplier is in fact an authorised distributor.
Good luck :)

The first comment at the top is saying that they have had serious problems with loading the files. Salehoo's response is to say that it's just a minor error but what it sounds like to me is that a lot of the books are just not going to work. AT ALL! Plus, why would you want to buy an ebook when you could very easily download it for free from one of the many sharing sites on the internet. This whole offer is just a crappy hoax to get you to shell out more money and gain nothing in return. The majority of SaleHoo's manufacturers aren't manufacturers at all and are just overpriced middlemen who sometimes are trying to sell the products for more than what you would pay in a store. The drop-shipping company that SaleHoo recommends, DHGate, is one of the best places on the web to get ripped off. If you look at the reviews, the majority of the products sold on there are fakes or stolen. If you want a good website to buy straight from china then go to alibaba.com and only work with gold members. I have yet to be ripped off by any gold member. However do a little research on the company before you purchase from them and have your first order be small so you can check quality. After that try to have a written and signed agreement on all large purchases. All in all, stop listening to SaleHoo, stop using overpriced middlemen, and go direct to the source. GO TO MANUFACTURERS IN CHINA!

"I found this blog very useful - thanks for sharing!
If you're willing to share, which template are you using on this blog? Its a great design and I would like to know if it's custom or not."

Digital downloads are no longer allowed by eBay. You can however transfer the eBooks to CD's or DVD's and get twice as much for them. That's what I do with Auction Acrobat. It runs itself. There are some other cheaper programs available now. Auction Acrobat was the first and comes with everything. Paul Ponna sells it. sjeffreya

Hi,
I am a newbie to Ebay and I have been looking into selling ebooks but the whole process of automating these sales is baffling me--does this product actually walk through all of the technical stuff so that someone not so technical could accomplish it? Did you look over the ebooks that come with the package? Are they vaulable information that one could honestly sell-feeling like the customer got something for thier money??
thank you

If you are buying a ton of ebooks, as with this product, they're not all going to be high quality. To make this work you need to first research niches and find where there is a gap in the market for particular information.
Select the books related to this topic and spend some time rewriting and editing. Cut & paste the best bits and turn them into one or two really good books.
Note: These ebooks should be in PDF format meaning most people should have no trouble opening them.

Problem is the number of people selling the same ebooks, many of which are old and badly written, for 99c. How can one compete and make money?
In addition one is also promoting some other business as most ebooks are loaded with the publishers' affiliate links. What their products are, to say nothing of their business ethics, one can only ascertain by reading the ebook.
I've been given ebooks so old that clicking on a link to view the promised video content has brought up a site showing a message that the content is out-of-date and no longer available.
Another showed a message saying that the audio content infringed the owners' copyright and was therefore not available.
Many ebooks are compiled as *.exe files and won't run on Win XP without another programme and then there can be problems.
One of my maintenance programmes has recently, without my permission, change a security setting which prevents display of html files (which are what one finds inside the *.exe, so I have many (temporarily, I hope) unviewable ebooks.
The same problem occurs with Win2000 and despite many hours of scouring the internet (including Microsoft) and applying many so-called fixes nothing worked. That's why I upgraded to Win XP which has, somewhere hidden away, a setting which will make my ebooks viewable again.
I don't know, but I imagine there would be many customers who would experience the problems I've had but without the knowledge to overcome them.
It seems to me that a lot of time would be needed to placate and sort out these difficulties.
