A way to track affiliate traffic

Post oldpadlocks 18/04/2007 07:32

It seems to me this would be a great way of putting to rest the long standing question of "am I getting paid?" or "is my link formatted correctly?". It seems to me that it would be somewhat simple to add this and I am confused as to why it is not in place. I have never seen an affiliate program that has no way of tracking traffic and stats.

If there is one and I missed it, I am sorry. Any help (from salehoo staff?) would be greatly appreciated!

Im not too familiar with salehoo's affiliate program. But im sure someone here does. But I assumed you can track affiliate clicks through clickbank?

It shows your sales, but no other info. it would be nice to have something to show you that you have it set up right and that you are getting hits or not. I read in another post that a sysstem was going to be set up to do this but that was back in 06 i think.

Tracking hits and sales.

I'm on a different wavelength here because in my case I would use trackthatad.

** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** is a great resource and one of the best tools I've seen and found for tracking growth of affiliate program sales and so on.

Originally, I was a hardline skeptic of whether a home business could really work or not.

But after joining an amazing school and taking classes, while also earning from the affiliate sales that school generates I've come to accept the phrase "Sky is the limit" and proof-read it as my new motto.

It seemed to be so far out of reach but yet, it is not...its right there for the taking.

If you install the right keywords, meaning the right basic content in your page or pages and then pile on the traffic from all over.......you will have continuous never ending sales and signups.

Pie in the sky thoughts and ideals are now reality at just one click. You could start out with virtually no visitors, and within a matter of days have your website address in the top of Alexa rankings with doing nothing with AdWords.

You could paste your web address on card-cutouts and mail them all over town, nail them up on posts in the city or boards, rent a permit and give your entire website away offline.

But more importantly, you could take that website or websites and rush traffic (meaning sales) to them from all over the world.....with no limits, without spending a single dime, and even become a success overnight in some cases.

Yes, I am talking about automated traffic generation. Gone are the days of struggling to promote everything one at a time. You can now pile on thousands of hits and visitors at the click of a single button and leave it running on your computer all day long without flinching a muscle........

While you go out and leave for vacation or just stay away for days, days at a time.

All the while, 100% of the time, if your content and descriptions are good and you let it pile on the traffic.......you will have sales and signups while you sleep.

Any time. All the time, and just pile it on by the thousands from there if you ever decide its time to just succeed everywhere.
