another newbieHi! I just recently joined salehoo because of the great products I've seen advertised. I've never sold anything over the internet and I'm not sure how to get started. I guess I'm feeling alot of fear because I've never done this before. Has anyone here been in my shoes? If so, what did you do to get over the fears? Also, how do you upload pictures of drop shipped items onto your personal website?
I was in your shoes the first of January and now I have about 150 items listed, 63 positive feedback rating on ebay, and things are starting to flow. My advice is just jump in and start selling, but do your homework on your items.
To download pictures from dropshipper Right click on picture Save target as My documents/pictures To add pictures to your site Click upload button go to file-my documents/pictures double click picture you want click upload I think I covered it all. JKKB SWIMMING POOLS and MORE
Web Store http://www.jkkbpools.com Ebay Store http://www.jkkbswimmingpools.com
One of my favorite sites to use especially if you have alot of pictures is to use ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** You can upload your pics very quick and just click on the pic and the site copies the link to your pc. Then you can paste the link directly in your description or in the picture services URL portion of your listing. Jimmy

I can understand the FEAR that you talk about. I am presently going through the same phase and I haven't gotten anywhere yet. I don't even think I will be able to overcome this fear, but then, I think that this fear is necessary. It is believed that this feeling of trepidation is going to push you harder and make you more and more successful in your endeavour.
So as my more experienced brothers here on the community say it, if you are decided on what you need to sell, just jump in and promote the heck out of your products. You could do with a little offline promotions too. What say? Fliers, pamphlets, word-of-mouth, cold-calling, whatever.
Every new venture requires a gamble. I spent countless thousands over the years on starting a business and took many losses on ebay before I actually starting seeing the returns I do now. You gotta jump in and get your feet wet. If you dont get your feet wet you wont learn to swim.
Just do as much research on items before you list. Its a good thing to know what your getting into before you try to sell a certain item. Jimmy
