Hello Salehoo

Hello Salehoo

Postby beachdisney » 14/06/2009 20:10

Over the last few days I became a Cardiac patient. I am out of work for the next few months and I cannot depend upon online sales to get me through. I had stuff listed on eBay, Buy It Sell It, Atomic Mall, and Bonanzle. I moved almost nothing. I sell (or at least I try to sell apparel. Ralph Lauren, ARROW and lesser brands.) Lots of lookers but few sales.

Is there something I can do online to earn an income that does not depend on the economy or does not depend on sales?

Thanks.

Hi beachdisney,

Pretty much everything nowadays depends on the economy. So it would be hard to say exactly what. I mean, for you to earn anything at all someone has to be willing to spend..:)

There are some products that continue to do well, either in spite of, or because of the econimic situation. For example, common household items are still needed by most people, even when money is tight.
People haven't stopped spending altogether, they just spend on different things. Another example is: Lots of people are choosing to invest in a nice home entertainment system rather than going out.

Consumables are always worth looking at because they afford you the ability to develop repeat business, and that type of business is good in any economy : )

Fudji and Grace, thank you for the suggestions.
From both of your ideas I have come to bath and body stuff. I know there are a few suppliers here who dropship. Thanks for the new direction guys.
