PLEASE POST A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF IN THIS THREAD

My name is Sean, I am almost 21 years of age. I live in Tasmania which is a state of Australia (the small island at the bottom).

So why am I here?

With the influence of my father, I have always tried to 'go against the flow' and generate wealth from all types of areas. I find the internet both fascinating and daunting at the same time. There is soooo much money to be made on the net its not funny...

I have been involved with lets say 'generating income from the internet' for the last 2 years. I have been sucessful in some areas and in some others, well let's not talk about it!

I am trying my hand at opening up a shop in the city that I live, selling reasonably priced electronic goods, hence joining up with salehoo and looking for suppliers....

So far I have made quite a few contacts and am negociating deals slowly ( I hate the damn time zone difference!) and surely as I don't want to burn my fingers....

That's about all I can say.... :D

Hi there,
Im after everything....

Suits, tops and bottoms mainly... Its really hard to buy nice items for teen- middle aged people here in NZ.

I myself am 24 and was a size 28 but now a 18-20 but found it too hrd to find clothes that i liked.
Decent clothing here in NZ for that kinda price sells for $200 a top!
Im wanting to supply people with decent nice tops for $50 ish...



Tops like these.... but these i find normally go up to size 16-18 in NZ sizes (2-3xl)

It might be a long shot but until i can get designs and bits done myself for making these i want to buy in wholesale.

ive found a few good sites but most are so expensive like it would cos me $100NZ for 1 top. and by the time i get it shipped and bits im looking at $250 to sell. Thats just too much

I may as well introduce myself. My name is Dennis and i'm from Sydney, Australia.

Myself and a friend (Farid) of mine are members of this site. (Differen't logons of course)

We have started a online business at the moment selling Cell/Mobile Phones. Sales are pretty slow but that things go i guess.

We will be branching out into the Car Audio sector soon. We have another friend who is starting a Car Audio Install business so the sales will basically going via his shop.

Anyways i hope we get share supplies and stories.

Hi and WOW... seems like there's a few aussie's here! That's great! I'm from Western Victoria, Australia. and like OTNIC I'd love to find some decent plus size clothing in both sleepwear and general wear, tops etc. I'm also looking for all types of lingerie and would like to find a decent supplier with good and reliable products.

I've started my own business, and am going to do party plan. Low cost start up and selling items (similar to you guys), selling items that are hard to find or non-existant in this town. Generally you'd either have to drive at least 2.5-4hrs to find anything really decent. Basically I've been researching what this town is missing so I can provide something that people want!

I believe there is only ONE plus size store here as well.

Anyway, I'm looking for a broad range of clothing, mainly nice tops in various styles and lingerie from the raunchy to sophistaction... As well as fun novelty items... I'd like to cover Hen's nights as well. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a lot of fun with this as well as make myself some money.

I'm also looking at ways I can tap into the ebay market as well.... still researching that one (which is what brought me to salehoo).

It would be great to hear from anyone that would be able to provide some advice or guidance in getting started. Especially in the main areas I've listed above.

Im from Wellington, NZ (Hi Nic!) I joined salehoo for the same reasons as everyone else, to get some wholesalers. Ive been looking at maternity clothes as I have found it so hard to find any for myself. Have found some good sources but once it is sent here, its not worth it.
I am looking at selling online to start with then maybe setting up shop. At the moment im selling jewerly online which is going quite slow.
Im 24 years old, about to have my first baby and yeah, just trying to generate something for him in the future.
Maybe we could correspnd Nic as we are looking for the same type of products in a way.

Nice to see so many people from around here! I thought us Aussies/Kiwi's would be in a far greater minority than I have seen. As for me, I live in a small town in the Riverland, a rural region of South Australia. I am looking to start my own eBay business, but am having trouble finding wholesalers who offer no MOQ, but still have a decent price. I am especially interested in Home Electronics and Car Audio, but I will sell anything to raise the capital I need. My name is Alison and I am based in Melbourne, Australia. I am a mum to a 6 month daughter and looking to start up my onwm little business selling on ebay to suppliment my part-time job which I return to in January.

I am very interested in party supplies and also children's toys (stickers, activity books, nursery decor, etc)

I am finding it really hard finding suppliers, etc. I have found one US website which sells great children's products but the shipping costs are so expensive - I wouldn't make much after paying for the shipping cost. :(
