I am a Newbie trying to find out if there are any dropshippers willing to work with me in selling Camera equipment, particularly DSLRs if there are any.

I am currently in Australia, but I am not a resident here. I am a Canadian citizen. I would love to learn from everyone here.

Yeah, you'll find plenty of Aussies floating around the forum here, quite of few Kiwis as well, so the Southern Hemisphere is pretty well represented : )

I'm in Brisbane myself, and doing just fine thanks VHC. Regarding my online sales, I use ebay and stick to mostly second hand items that are sourced from everywhere, from Auction Houses, to Garage Sales, Weekend Markets, you name it, and I'll use it as a product resource : )

Big fan of the second hand market because if you can talk a good deal, you never struggle to find stock, and you always have something different to offer, and that generates return customers : )

I see that some of the suppliers on this site is just a site where you can purchase cheaper goods, is that right? I mean, you do not have to buy in bulk or anything like that, and they don't offer drop shipping either?

There are all different kinds in truth mate.

Some require minimum orders, some don't. Some drop ship, some don't. Some are cheap, some aren't. Some answer their email enquiries, some don't. I find it helps though, if you find something you like, to call direct, set up a relationship and communicate! Be clear with what you want and don't, most will admit whether they can or can't do it.

Grab your spade and start digging mate, it's the only way to find out! :-)

ozgunner is right. Our directory contains a whole range of different suppliers, including drop shippers, wholesalers, manufacturers and liquidators. What this means is there are plenty of options for all businesses and budgets and you can select from a variety of suppliers to fulfill your product requirements. This is an enormous advantage when doing business as each supplier type has pros and cons, and choosing the right mix is critical to ensuring you maximize your profit margins. When you've found some suppliers who fit the bill, it's best to contact them directly and negotiate an arrangement that will work for you and ensure great margins. Even when the supplier states that they do not, say drop ship, it's still worth asking them cause, for all you know, they might say yes.

Obviously, with most wholesale suppliers, the more you order, the larger the discount. Still, many of our suppliers offer no minimum orders as a matter of course so you can order from them one unit at a time, all the time.

Just wondering how come on the supplier's pages, it says mention SaleHoo?

Some suppliers will give you additional discounts if you tell them you've found them through SaleHoo. Some will, but not all.
