    Australian Dollar.... weaker and weaker...

    The Australian Dollar is just too weak. Yesterday it was 1 AUD = 0.84 USD. Today it's 0.83!! earlier last month was 0.96!!

    It's just not wise anymore to invest too much in wholesale purchases overseas. The exchange rate is too much. I'm sticking to local companies or just use dropshipping services since I don't have to exchange my aud to usd. (sniff) All that's left for me is to wait..... and wait................. and wait....

    I got no foreign account so it's tougher for me since I'm only dealing with AUD!!!! I'm sure all Australians feel the same...

    Yeah, imports are really going to burn now, and don't expect that dollar to go up in the near future with all economic indicators suggesting it is down for the long run with the US dollar regaining its strength, and our economy slowing.

    Local products will offer the best value, unless of course they are also imported.

    Might be time for locals to consider Secondhand as a viable option to sourcing new wholesale products, especially ebay sellers.

    It's even worse for us Kiwis!

    On Friday, 19th September:

    1.00 NZD = 0.828784 AUD
    1.00 NZD = 0.686898 USD

    A few months ago 1.00 NZD was worth upwards of .90 AUD and 1.00 NZD was even at .82 USD!

    Not much we can do about it but wait it out.
