    What don't you like about the SaleHoo Research Labs?

    We are keen to get your feedback on the SaleHoo Research Labs so we can make it even better!

    What do you like about it? What do you find frustrating?

    Come on guys, I know I get a lot of grumbles about the tool, and have for quite a while now, so here is your chance. Fire in your ideas, tell us how it can serve you better and help SaleHoo develop a top class research tool for all of us.

    I'll be dropping in my 10 cents worth, so I hope I have plenty of company. I wouldn't mind seeing those ideas that are sent in also posted here. Give others a chance to see and discuss them, and perhaps we can create others ideas from the conversation.

    I saw this article and I got right to work. The Research Labs can be a powerful asset if you use it. But I know we can make it better.

    I sent in my first report already.

    Nice one dale, time for me to throw some ideas into the mix.

    Item Trackers - You could put in any item or a General Phrase, and the tool will monitor it and tell you if and when you have been undercut

    Seller Top Sales Report - See the best selling items per seller, prices,sale dates.

    Keyword Suggester - Start Typing in a item and based on what people search for, it tells you the best words to use in the Title.

    Cheap Checker - Show the cheapest an item has been sold for and who is selling it. Type in what your selling, it analyses the results and tells you who the cheapest is at the moment.

    Inventory Reporting - Ability to import your inventory and run a report against your items compared to the market and get a score rating on each on how well your items are, your price, etc etc.

    Perhaps even multi platform research, not just eBay, but something like Amazon as well to cover a wider market.

    OK, there are a few ideas. So come on, lets get a dialogue going on this so the development team knows what the members really need.

    this probably isn't the place to post this question but I figure you guys would be able to answer quickly.

    the supply vs demand bar - Does the thumbs up mean there is a lot of supply for it or demand for it? I don't understand that ratio.

    I mean if the thumbs up is the supply and the thumbs down is the demand, does that mean that i'm looking for a bar with equal value on both?

    i hope someone understands what i'm asking.

    Hi LTY39,

    As per our developers, each side of the bar doesn't have a separate meaning. It's just 1 magic percentage which indicates how "good" a product is for selling. Thumbs up and down just helps indicate which end of the bar is good and which is bad. The number just helps read the specific ratio. You will notice the two numbers always add up to 100%.
