dropshipping fees

Post anton343 06/04/2008 12:01

Hi all

I'm new here but a quick question for you.

i sell regularly on ebay in the UK and on average t/0 around £800 per week, I usually visit the wholesalers twice a week and purchase direct.

I am now looking for dropshippers totake some of the workload from me. When joining I read the education section on the site and it syas beware of dropshippers that charge a fee.

My problem is this. When visiting sites from the UK that are found in the suppliers section quite a lot of the dropshippers ask for a fee. Are these suppliers not vetted and if so would it not be advisiable not to advertise these suppliers as we are being warned against using those that charge a fee.

Every legit dropshipper has a fee. I use a dropshipper for designer goods and I pay 10% additional for this service. I think it is great considering I do not have to tie up cash with inventory.

if you have a good rapport with the supplier they can work something out with the fee. Sometimes, if the volume is more, they will bring the percentage down. Just a suggestion.
