Hi
If you are looking for a free ecommerce site, try

** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members**.

I have a couple with them and the come with shopping cart and PayPal payment integrated. If you prefer not to use PayPal, you can use your own payment method via HTML buttons. If you want a more detailed, professional development, try

** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members**.

They have a detailed solution with control panel, user monitoring, a lot of ecommerce settings including tax, shipping payment processing etc. It's $39 to set up and you get the first 6 mths free. After that it's $39/mth. They would build you a custom logo based on your specification or your site description. Check it out. If you can afford it, I recommend this one.

Regards
Allan

Looking for an E-commerce site (free or semi free)

Post resorts 27/12/2007 03:57

Hi All:

I also am BRAND NEW to Salehoo. I found this thread and noticed only a few replies and the last reply was in November. I would also like to "experiment" with an online store.

Does anyone know of an E-commerce site that is good AND either starts out completely free for a while (similar to rapidestore above) OR preferably FREE for a limited number of items (like 3-4 items and if you grow then they start chaging you). That way I could set it up, test it out for functionality and IF it works smoothly and I increase my inventory, I can start paying the monthly fees then. I know I'm asking for alot here but just investigating.

Dave I can put you in contact with someone that can get you going with a online store. You add your own products and as many as you want. I used them as well to start my store. Send me a private message if interested.

I like shopify.com But I am a newbie. ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** Your first 10 products sell for free then you can upgrade to the $24/month plan and it goes up from there! Good Luck!

Also I just came across ecrater.com. Not sure about the details but it looks like it's free!

It does not make any sense to pay $24 a month for a store when you can start your own for free. All we had to do to get our store started was pay for the domain name and then pay for someone to host it. That's it no monthly fees.

Yes but if I don't know html and all of that then it's a big pain, isn't it?

You do need to know a little HTML to get it set up but once it is set up and going it is very easy to add, delete, or edit the products and pricing.
