Compared them with urbanload.com, sites are practically identical. Only exception: urbanload is more reputable. Both have same monthly fee, both offer just about the same products. Just my 12 cents. (Inflation brings up from 2 cents.)

hi cheers pgeng, Urban upload, they are not a scam?

Really can not afford another mistake like that?

    Have you used them?

i dont mind ordering wholesale then selling them on if dropshipping is too risky?

    Cheers

    Re: www.artsmonk.com

All the sites mentioned use the same servers originating with Artsnow who is the main server. They rent out server space for a monthly fee to all of us.

There are over 2000 sellers on eBay who use this service. Though I am ramping up the retail end of my website I concentrate on service to resellers. You are welcome to sign on with a free 30 day trial and do some test runs. You can order mouse pads for 2.99 as a reseller. I suggest doing 2 or 3 test runs to friends and family and get feedback on quality and ship times.

The one problem with this business is ship time. On the average it takes 12 to 18 business days for delivery. But as long as the seller is completely transparent in describing the shipping there are normally no issues.

DWMgoods is presently a reseller and is making some good steady income. I won't say how much but I was pretty impressed with his numbers this month. He still hasn't reached a ceiling and has been Mr. steady in his sales over the past few months.
If I told you the numbers from all my sellers you might reconsider. They don't
have to store or ship or build product. They simply make the design, post to eBay and process orders.
Now I'm simplifying this a little. If you ask DWM he'll probably tell you it was some work to get where he is at now but its definitely getting more simple and streamlined. The key is to have a good amount of regular items, maybe two hundred, then a steady increase of a couple new ones a week.

If you come on board at link hidden I will send you out a new reseller primer. Its a two or three page new seller instructional. The other benefit to my service is you have someone who will answer your questions right here on Salehoo and someone who has English as their first language.

You really have very little to lose. Its free to try the service and 3$ to test run
a mouse pad that you might like.

I used arts now dot com too and they shipped from Hong Kong so I lost a lot of customers at ebay. The shipping was so slow. Some products got lost. In the end, I got a bunch of complains, ebay shut down my ebay store.

    Re: www.artsmonk.com

I have several sellers selling on eBay without major issues. Yes, shipping time is an issue and you have to state very clearly in your listings the shipping time and even send them a message making sure they understand this.

Shipping time should state 20 days and you should state 12 to 18 days in your listing. There isn't an 18 day option so I state it in my listing. This is business days.

Many items take this long to ship from other businesses on and off eBay. As long as it is made known there are few issues and when there are, resolve them.

I made an order on Office Depot for business cards and was told two weeks. I knew this going in and will be happy to get them especially at the price I got them at.

    Re: www.artsmonk.com

I agree. the shipping time could take a little bit longer. artsnow claims 6-12 business days, which is not always the case. if you sell at your website or ebay, please make sure providing accurate information to your buyer, otherwise, you may have the possibility of losing this chance, that's why some people called it as a scam. I hope this helps.

Hey Robin and others I too agree that stating and being as thorough as possilbe about the shipping times will help.

The one big problem that I see happening a lot lately is buyers are not completely reading the terms and policies section in a listing and just taking a look at the product and description and then placing a bid not knowing the shipping times and later email you out of anger asking why hasnt their product arrived yet! LOL this seems to be a regular email I get almost 3 times a week. With that said, I am very clear in all my auctions as to the shipping times, I even put 8-20 business days in these listings and buyers still continue to ask these questions when it has already been answered if they just would have READ a listing! lol some people really shouldnt be allowed to buy Online because of this common sense.

When I shop online I will be honest, before I even consider making a purchase I want to know how long its gonna take to arrive but some people just assume it will be there in 2 or 3 days.

    Re: www.artsmonk.com

The problem is that you, the seller, is going on the assumption that every customer, the buyer, is going to read every single word on your site, including the shipping. That's not always the case, according to several posts here. Ideally, the buyer would look at the seller's feedback most importantly, to verify on reputation or any issues, and make a judgment call (that's what I do).

The way I see it, a general rule of thumb would be to increase communication! Once the bid has been made, purchase made, don't rely on the automation process of ebay telling them, and you, about the purchase, and then ship it. Instead, write up an email to the winning buyer and let them know that there is a possibility of an extended delay on the shipping by several days, according to the location that they reside in.

From the personal experience that I've already had from the recent three sales, the customers really do appreciate the emails that I send to them to let them know.

I believe they will receive it in couple of days again. Now, I am interested bout the write up you said and I hope it can help me. Sure this dropship service is good, but need creativity a bit to gain profits from eBay. Hoping for your reply soon. Thank you. =)
