    Email lists - advice needed

    I really really would like to find a reliable email lists for not terribly expensive and have a good reputation. Any suggestions?

    There are many sites listed on the internet just try googling 'email lists' and you'll find sites like link hidden

    We cannot recommend any in particular since we have not used them ourselves. But, I heard Info USA is quite reliable.

    The issue you have with using a mailing list for marketing is finding a targeted list that is relevant to your market. If you just buy a general list then you may well get a large customer base to market to, but the difference could be like shooting ducks behind heavy cloud cover, and shooting ducks in a barrel!

    The more targeted your mailing list is, the higher your chances of success, so don't base your decision on the numbers on the list, try and base it around the type of list it is.

    @iamdog: Have you tried googling 'email lists' as previously suggested? If you haven't you should. When I did there were a umber of companies listed.

    Okay thanks I'll check them out. I just didn't know if any of you knew if they were reliable or not. Im really not in the mood to get scammed!
