Alibab.com sells Moroccan tents and crafts. Are you referring to Alibaba.com, the directory? I haven’t purchased from any of these sites but you might want to clarify for those who may have something to share. :)

As Irene highlighted, if it is alibaba.com that you are referring to, it's a b2b business directory. It has many different suppliers listed within the directory, so you have to set your focus on researching the particular supplier you want to do business with within the site.
You'll find some excellent suppliers, you'll find find some really bad ones
and of course you will find some scammers as well, so you really do need to make sure that you research the supplier throughly before moving forward with any transaction.
The one thing you will not find there is authentic branded products, no matter what the supplier assures you!
As for Alibab.com, no idea whatsoever lolMarc Ransom

I couldn't agree more with fudjj. Don't fall for anything offered as branded, you'll just end up disappointed and at a lost.
Although not taking away credit, there are as fudjj said "excellent suppliers" in there but you'll have to do plenty for research just to be sure.

Alibaba is just a platform of sellers and buyers, itself is not a scam, but you must be careful of the scammers at Alibaba.A China cheap Goods Supplier - Cheerwholesale.com

again be careful but with this you have the safety of there escrow payment system which works very well.
some very good suppliers on there, however i would stay clear from electronics unless for personal use.link hidden

Alibaba.com is similar to DHgate.com - They are both directories where you can find good suppliers as well as bad ones! So long as you stay clear from brand name products you should be relatively fine. But do be careful and be alert when you go supplier hunting since Chinese directories like these are also filled with scammers.
Just keep in mind, 9 out of 10 times branded products offered by Chinese suppliers will just be copies/fakes/counterfeits!

Alibaba is a famous company in China which provide sellers and buyers a platform for trading, it makes money from asking sellers pay annual fee to become golden supplier, Aliexpress is Alibaba owned platform for small wholesale or retail, DHgate is similar to Aliexpress. All in all, never believe these so-called brand items:garments,jewelry and any other.
