    Test the new SaleHoo website!

    Hi guys,

    We have some very exciting news. Our new SaleHoo is ready for beta testing!

    You can login with your existing login details at http://www.salehoo.com/

    Please bear in mind we are testing different parts of it and fixing content/issues etc... so it won't be 100% perfect but just wanted to get people using it and reporting bugs etc..

    Please don't post this link or mention it to the general public thanks as its still in stealth mode :) Also don't post on the new forum (although you can browse it) as posts made may get deleted and blown away.

    If you find any bugs, come across any 404 errors or funny issues please email them to us at link hidden, no matter how small.

    Thanks again, and I can't wait to hear your feedback :)

    The only thing I want to ask is has the Supplier list been cleaned up? I think most of you know what I am talking about, I read on the new site about weeding out the dirty suppliers but If its a redone supplier list does that mean you guys got rid of the existing suppliers that most of us on here have seen for the longest time. I hope those suppliers have been removed or else your probably wasting your time redoing the supplier list if your just going to keep the same old suppliers on board. LOL sorry for being negative on this, I just think if your gonna do it full force you might as well take a new approach by who can be on that list so we dont have to constantly create posts asking if a supplier is clean or not.

    @ dwmgoods35,

    We’d like to ask you to explain further what you mean when you say ‘dirty suppliers’?

    We have at least three staff members working on reviewing, editing and screening suppliers in the directory, but with over 8,000 suppliers it’s quite impossible for us to totally keep up to date with each one. We assure you we are putting extra effort on this :)

    Have you actually visited the new site yet? We have new features that makes doing searches a whole lot better – like the algorithm has been improved to assure everyone a more relevant search result so you won’t just be seeing the top ranked suppliers first for all your searches. We have also added a feature that enables you to see suppliers that have been recently reviewed as well as those that have been recently added.

    We look forward to your feed back! :)

    Nice site but I tried the research tool and it never loaded any reports on items I research for. It would be nice to really concentrate on that tool it would help out a lot of people. You are on the right track! Keep up the good work. Buy the way its strange seeing faces to people that help out here. Richelle wink wink lol oh you to fudjj lol

    oh and Richelle all I was basically referring to was I see all the time on here of users complaining why a supplier is in the supplier list if they are scamming people. lol im sorry if I dont have specifics but im just tired of hearing people complain that the quality of the suppliers on here are either lacking competitive pricing or they are not communicating with the buyers.

    I was just wondering if the process of approving suppliers has been raised, thats all.

    Besides that I really find the new site to be a huge success and im sure Salehoo will do very very well by its members and hope it raises and adds more to the site!

    @ planes: Thanks for the compliment. No comment :)

    @dwmgoods35: We are trying our best to block out suppliers that may cause more harm than good.. In fact we don't just add but we remove suppliers as well when they no longer meet SaleHoo's standards. Since this aspect of SaleHoo needs updating at all times - I'd say that this is and will always be a work in progress.

    The new site does look and function way better than the current one. We all look forward to its formal launch.

    One issue, now that I am hear is I like the old forum format a little better. i like how the discussion threads looked better than the new. The new format is too big and the threads are too small. Its harder for me to follow the thread. But maybe I will get more used to it as time goes on.
