Hi, I'm a new member and I live in New Zealand. I would like to import sports brand name products such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc. from the USA to sell here. Do I need to register with those companies before I can start selling their branded products?

If you search the forum using the brandnames as keywords, you will find other related posts like the following:

Big name brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc. are continuously striving to stop the selling and importing of fakes and because of this, they only sell through authorized distributors. You may contact them directly and request for their list of authorized distributors or enquire how you can be one. That said, you would need to register with them.
