Freight charge by Liquidation.comFreight charge by Liquidation.com Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has ordered from liquidation.com. Their prices seem very attractive but the shipping cost is rediculous. Check out the link below and you know what I mean. ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members**
There will be minimum charge plus $150 flat fee for administration. It seems to me that they are more interested in making money on shipping rather than auctions. Thanks.
Re: Freight charge by Liquidation.com Yep, one of the more expensive shipping quotes you will ever get is one from them. If you're going to buy from a supplier on the site I suggest you talk with them first regarding arranging your own alternative shipping.
Re: Freight charge by Liquidation.com Thanks fudjj. Which freight service do you suggest using to ship from US to New Zealand? Or is it worth the hassel at all as by arranging one's own shipping, one gives up the right of disputing on the goods bought. Sounds dodgy to me.
Re: Freight charge by Liquidation.com Whoever I could suggest would be expensive to ship that distance, and with the exchange rate, you would be paying through the nose!
As for insurance, you can cover your load if you pay for the coverage. What sort of surplus products are you chasing?
Re: Freight charge by Liquidation.com If I were you I'd forget about ordering from Liquidation.com if you have to then freight to NZ. As you said, their shipping and admin costs are over the top and you can't be sure of the quality of the items you will receive anyway. Been there - got stung. I'm in Australia and I actually finished up losing money once I factored in the shipping and handling costs.
