Hi lorton_123,

Majority of our suppliers are from the US but approximately 75% of them ship worldwide. And yes, we do have many suppliers from Australia.

There are two ways of searching for suppliers in our directory.
1. By clicking on the 'Suppliers' tab, selecting a category and selecting a country from the drop down menu on the right-hand side of the page.
2. By typing in the product name as your keyword in the Search Box. This will bring up the suppliers for this product in our directory. You can then, select the country of choice in the drop down menu on the right-hand side of the page. Note that the results may include suppliers from other countries though.

If you are still unable to find the suppliers that fit your requirements, then, just let us know. We would be glad to help you out!

It's great to have you here! Enjoy! :)

Unfortunately Australian manufacturing is in record decline, which is why our Australian supplier numbers are a bit thin on the ground!
But if you let us know what you are looking for, we'll do our best to locate suppliers for you in the country of your preference.

Thanks for the replies gratefully appreciated Just looking for some things to sell on EBay that I can make a profit on.
The thing is that stuff on EBay is sometimes cheaper than I have seen wholesale.

Hi lorton_123,

eBay has become an extremely competitive marketplace and it is not uncommon to find products selling at prices the same as or lower than wholesaler. How can this be? Because lots of wholesalers sell on eBay directly to the public! Unfair yes, but it's the reality.

What can you do about it?
* Order in bulk quantities to drive the wholesale price down
* Sell on another auction site other than eBay – there are heaps to choose from and profit margins are usually better. Craigslist is also a good place to sell if you live in the USA. (Let us know if you need more suggestions for places to sell online)
* Buy liquidation – this lets you get product for pennies on the dollar. (I’ll let you in on a secret, this is how lots of powersellers make money on eBay these days)
* Find a niche market with few competitors – collectibles and one-off items have amazing profit margins, even on eBay.

These days, you have to be pretty savvy to survive on eBay, so I hope we’ve given you some ideas.

Hi lorton,

Don't over look the second hand marketplace at any time for ebay, but especially now when people are looking to stretch every dollar they can.

Weekend markets, garage sales, charity ships, auction houses and so on. The right second hand items always find a good market on ebay, and will produce a much greater margin than a wholesale product, and at a much reduced outlay.

Cheers
