Can anyone please guide me about custom fees and duty for importing products to australia from china/HK/US ?

Or guide me where can I find the information ? Do I need to have import licence ?

Hi Mate,
I have just started importing items, and have just purchased items from the USA. If you check the Australian taxation website this gives you good information regarding importation taxes etc. Mind you, if your goods come to less than $1000 then normally there are no taxes, but once you go over, i believe this is when you get hit by taxes. Its not that much though

Yep, that's what I found less than $1000 there is no importation tax, don't go thinking though to import couple of orders in the same week/day that add up to or more than $1000 cos they will get you that way too.
