Buying prepacked clothing packs from suppliers

    Hi guys,

I am just curious as to if i wanted to buy some pre-packed clothing packs that contain variety of sizes from S-XXXL How many should i get as some prepacked packs come with the following combination

2 smalls, 2 medium,2 larage sort of combination as i used to use spclothing and that changed it so you have to pay 1 of each size annoying when u want so many of each size.

So what would be the logical solution maybe 5 lots of the prepacked clothing

Another thing is when buying prepacked clothing good idea to place a buy now and set price as the mrrp eg if the tag was showing $50 for orginal manufuctures price should that be a good way to sell it to my customers?

Any ideas? wouuld this be the most logical way of doing this What do you guys think?

    Thanks,William

    Hi William,

I haven't really tried buying in packs but unless you have tried selling the item and have tested that they have a relatively good selling rate I would suggest starting out with a couple of packs instead. This to help you minimize any risk for loss in case the items won't sell.

The only way to ascertain how many packs to buy from your supplier would be to test your market. It would be difficult to give you an outright volume without ample market research.

Sorry but I'm not that sure about what you are referring to here -

Kindly clarify so we can help out.

What I mean is when you usually buy wholesale products eg prepackef ones sometimes on the supplier they list a Manufactor price that each item sells in store at a price eg if the supplier says rrp price is 50 dollars shud I sell it at that price?

Thanks for clarifying that William :)

Ideally it would be good to sell the product based on the suggested manufacturer's or retail price. But if you happen to be selling through various venues, you might want to experiment a bit and offer your products in slightly different prices. You can also offer it as buy it now and auction format.

    Hope this helps.
