Liquidationtime.com has some great stuff that I'd like to buy but the shipping charges are $550 USD to New Zealand for 10 pounds. Umm... what the hell?!

I think the $550 is more correct. I doubt the $35.00 is actually correct.Wholesale Directory by SaleHoo

It costs me Over $300 to ship a 25 pound box to NZ. $550 to ship a 70 Pound 19x19x23 Box.

Hi there,Mate, I could kiss you. This is exactly what I've been looking for. :D :D :D
Like you I have to look at freight costs. I live just across the Tasman in the West Wimmera part of Victoria.
Might I suggest you look at :D :D :-
link hidden . They are also under link hidden .
For example - I recently purchased 10 leather jackets through my drop shipper. Weight 41 lb approx 18.6 kg. Their S&H from Texas to Mbex in California was $US34.07 or app $NZ42.26. I asked them to hold onto the consignment as I making more purchases. A couple of days later I purchased some R.C.Cars from Liq. Fullerton CA warehouse. Weight 75 lb or 34 kg. S&H from Fullerton CA to Mbex in La Habra CA was $US43.19 or app $NZ53.58. Mbex consolidated the total of 4 parcels into one shipment. FedEx give Mbex members a 30% discount. ie 116 lb app 52.7kg. Cost $US671.81 or app $NZ833.28. All up cost (cost of goods + S&H) = Coats $NZ49.55 each & R.C.Cars $NZ13.10 each. I have already sold 2 coats at double the cost (less eBay/PayPal exorbitant fees). I have only started to list the cars this evening. All up I have found Mbex & FedEx VG. Both sites allow you to track your shipment. :D
:D In addition to the above might I also suggest you use link hidden for your currency conversion rates. At least then you know your true cost in $NZ.

This isnt too bad of an idea. But I dont see a big change in price for the weight. This is a little higher then the price that fedex charges me for the same weight. But the bonus is that you can consolidate multiple orders from different companies and combine the weight totals. This can defiantly save international buyer money if they purchase from multiple sources.Wholesale Directory by SaleHoo
