Hi,Hi TSO,
I am looking to import from China. Does anyone know a good quality control contact/company I could use to vet the products prior to purchase?
Thanks!

On behalf of Irene, you're welcome TSO :) We're glad you found the information helpful!I have read some posts about paying GST at customs, should I apply for GST?I think it's added credential on your part as a buyer. A number of wholesalers will require you to have one. And since you are on the verge of starting a business you definitely should get a GST. I think you'll find the information and links in this guide helpful - http://www.salehoo.com/education/business-setup/registering-a-business-in-australia
If I make an order, they have stated that for LCL, Shipping of the goodies from Ningbo to Australia is for free at presant. I have asked them to clarify. Are you able to help?Probably because you're ordering samples and the quantity is less than container load (LCL) that is why they are not charging you for freight just yet. But best to clarify this directly with your supplier so a more appropriate answer :)
