What is it with some people? This may get a few peoples noses up but i feel i need to say this...
Salehoo are here to HELP people find wholesalers, which i find they do help me in getting around and trying to source products. However people come on here and expect the owners of salehoo to run around after them and for them to sit back and do nothing... I myself have spent 2 years now trying to find wholesalers. I am heading in the right direction more so now thanks to Salehoo but im getting really annoyed with some people who expect things to come to them. It takes ALOT of time to find the right wholesaler and when you do keep hold of them. it might take you seconds to find one but it may take years to find the right one. Salehoo has helped me so much so far and the forum i find is awesome apart from people expecting things to happen overnight. Maybe its only me that feels this way but i feel it needs to be said. Thanks salehoo you guys/gals are AWESOME! Nic nic@0tnic.com - msn & email
Well said. I agree. It surely doesn't happen over night - it's taken me a couple years also, and I think researching, and working hard to figure out what sells, and to sell the right product is really the name of the game ....
I've been very frustrated at times, but I have to applaud Salehoo --- this site has been a great big help to me also!! 8) :) Michelle aka MsLilly

I've only been doing this less than a week, and I've realized that it takes a lot of effort to make it work. I've spent quite a bit of time in this last week reading, researching, etc, to figure stuff out. I was doing all this before I joined SaleHoo. I joined because I thought it might help with what I want to accomplish, and because almost anything is easier if we share experiences. I'm hoping to learn a little from others experiences and mistakes...
Yea, same here. And I think this site will help a bit. I've learned a lot, for sure!!
I started on Ebay selling my daughters outgrown clothing, and was like, WOW, this is fun. And well, then I was doing it for fun -- but browsing - I figured out, there is money in this - but again, it's not easy. Takes a lot of work! Michelle aka MsLilly

Hi,
Just to echo the sentiments already written. Thanks to salehoo as so far they have proved to be the best resource I've found for wholesalers. I have used a couple of others and paid heaps for lists off ebay and the likes, to be frustrated by 'dead' links and lack of results. The forum provides an excellent place to compare stories, frustrations and experiences in this business. I am also quite new to this and although you do still need to perform your own research and due dilligence, salehoo makes the task so much easier. Thanks guys! toffee.
What's up with all the spam... this certainly isn't the topic to advertise that site...

I just found salehoo.com inside some junk I bought on eBay and it wasn't the first, 2nd or third lot of junk I bought either in a search for suppliers/wholesalers.
At first it seemed a little expensive compared to other wholesaler information sites, but the professional look of the website swayed me into joining. In just one evening searching, reading this forum and looking around, I've made £0, BUT I know it's going to save £££££ in the long run. Hell, the information in this forum alone on iPods, fakes, importing from China and a load of other things is worth the cost alone. I only decided to set up on my own 2 weeks ago, and tonight is the first time I feel a lot happier about it. No more searching for and paying for crap thanks to Salehoo and everyone here. Dave.
Kudos and words of encouragement Hello all, First post here, but I have read over half of the forum already as of today! I have to say to those who wish for low low prices and huge profits that in the internet world it gets very difficult. Yes you can go for what's hot, like Ipods and things of the such, but mark my words, in order to have constant success, you gotta focus. Find your nich and focus on it. Yes it takes time and lots of hard work, but you can do it!
I've been in this business for about 3 years now, on and off. I'm only 22 but thanks to "Rich Dad Poor Dad", I've been thinking ourside of the box. My first company was with my cousin and we did computer repair. I stumbled on the Impoting business when we were looking for cheap computer replacement parts. Found alibaba.com, which wasnt that big back then, but it was great. Liquidationstation was the first one I found, and was another reason I smiled when I looked at the links on this site to it. The Owner is Bonner G Smith, and this person shows that time and effort along with perserverance pays. Salehoo had the sites that I was stumbling on by accident over and over again! Now this is my 4th company and its only focus is importing and exporting. At the $$$ level im at, which is ominous to say the least, I'm focusing on brokering to other companies. Even with little or no cash, you can make this work, we all can. I've been in computer repair, computer scrap, Real estate notes brokering, and Credit Repair (started that from scratch). I'm going to hold on to this one until I succeed. All the other companies aren't failures or to show how big headed I am, the point is that you have to keep trying. Every so called failure is really a lesson, well actually mountains of lessons. You learn, pick yourself up and keep trying. Thomas Edison failed over 10,000 times making the lightbulb, and when people made fun of him for it he responded that every time he failed he learned one more way that it couldn't be done. Always think positive, even when the chips are down. Thanks to all you guys here in Salehoo, you are incredibly patient with everyone else, with much understanding in your hearts. GOD bless you all. This forum isnt that old, so anyone who reads this would do well (i think) to participate now. This is the Prime time to learn and to make money from this forum, not to jinx it for later times, but you know how forums get with age. Now is when we have the most dedicated people who truely want others to succeed as they have! Oh and one last thing, if anyone needs any advice with company starting, contracts, ect. I have experience in all that, as I'm sure others do too, ask away and dont be shy!
Centercorp - Sounds like you and I joined this site for similar reasons.
One thing I like is that even though owning and running a home business is more of an individual thing (at least for this type of business), you don't feel alone here. We can learn from each other's experiences, help each other out, offer moral support, etc. It was well worth my cost of admission! Bianca

I agree with all of the above.
I have a brick and morter store; have an informational website and do a bit of playing with Ebay. I have spent almost three years finding the wholesalers that I deal with now on a regular basis. Your cannot buy "in a box" a one size solution. I am glad I found SaleHoo because of all the information contained within the site. And, yes, I have even found a few things to add to my store. Terry
