Thought i would post a topic on the soon to be released xbox 360 Elite. I've contacted local game shops such as EbGames and Gamestop and they aren't doing reservations. EbGames gave me a estimate of $490.00 for the system. I've checked on ebay and have seen them presaling for over $700+. Does anyone have any leads or additional information they would be willing to share. I believe the release date is april 30th? Not sure if this will be worth waiting outside before the store opens?

Hmmm waiting outside. been there and done that. Well the weather is nicer this time of year. lol . The worst that can happen is that you buy one at retail and drop it at retail. I am not sure how well they will do. I am sure there will be some form of demand for the system. I would like one just for show and tell....lol...

I don't think this is going to be big like the original launch. The only difference is just some modifications like a bigger hard drive, HDMI, and the color of the unit. Its still the same Xbox 360 just with a few extra bells and whistles. I don't think there will be lines this time.

Yeah I have to agree. I doubt there will be a line for these. Only extreme xbox 360 fanatics will jump on the bandwagon for these.

I think I'll just stop in some time at the release date and see if I can get one. I can't go through the line thing again, i'm still recovering from the 360's original release date.

lol I did the line thing for the PS3 and the Wii's. They all paid off but the Wii's had the best results. i actually got three in one day bac than. I was like the king. lol for a day. Than they all sold and I was back to the drawing board. At least the suppliers have a few extra to sell to us little guys now.
