Don't buy from 'Save U Cash'

Don't buy from 'Save U Cash'

Post Chrissoula 19/04/2007 04:42

Hi, I bought 100 pairs of sunglasses and 100 pieces of Jewellery from ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members**, it stated price was $150.00 USD, as I live in Australia I naturally assumed I would pay a little extra, when I went to check out after the transaction was complete it came to $367.07 USD which included $217.07 in shipping costs, I was shocked to find that it came to $481.56 AUD, so I did my calculations and it worked out to be $1.61 AUS per item, well the sunglasses and jewellery arrived one month later after numerous emails and Mr Beeman telling me they were out of stock and as soon as they got some more I was first on the list. But the sunglasses and jewellery are sheer junk junk junk! poor quality and many pieces of jewellery either broken when packed or in transit, jewellery was completely different from the picture, I would not even give them away as freebies, I emailed Mr Beeman to ask for a refund but never heard anything back, As I work full time and am trying to make a little extra money on the side, I know it would be a waste of time to keep trying to email him as I know it won't get me anywhere.I can assure you that shipping did not cost $217.00. I have learnt the expensive way, hope this stops someone out there from making the same mistake I did.

Joe, I just noticed that you are from Wholelaler wholesaler, I entered your site the other day and noticed you were selling the same sunglasses and Jewellry that savuucash were, the pictures were identical, I can assure everyone that the pictures of the jewellry shown are nothing to the junk I received, it seems that you and saveucash are linked or working in conjuction as you have the same sort of items selling. Well I sent my second email to Carlson this morning and awaiting a positive response.

Finally my email got a reply

Post Chrissoula 21/04/2007 07:46

Hello to all at Salehoo, if you read my previous email re saveucash I have an update, my second email got a reply but it wasn't what I had hoped for, owner insisted that these were of very good quality and retail for $29.99, (I dont think so) I asked for a refund as I simply cannot sell these sunglasses on ebay, no one will buy poor quality sunglasses and since I have 100% positive feedback on ebay the last thing I want is to receive a negative reply as I am trying to build up my little business, If anyone is thinking of buying these, post a reply with your email and i will be happy to send you a sample but only to a few replys as the postage I cannot afford to send to everyone. If anyone is interested in buying these and bonus junk jewellry make me an offer.

Ive purchased so called designer sunglasses once from ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** After recieving them I laughed a few times and gave them to my kids as costume items. They still wear them today. Yeah I lost money on them but heck any investment can cost you money. Just consider it a lesson learned and move on.

Your right Jimmy, the only way to learn is to find out the hard way, I have to say the forum is very useful and informative a good learning source, it warns people of what can happen, I could hold a garage sale and sell them.

Did Carlson say NO REFUND PERIOD?
I know he is fair guy and I would assume he would offer a refund less shipping and restocking fees.. Did you propose that?

Hello Joe, I respect your loyalty to Carlson but I have cut and pasted the email for you to see, I can forward it to your email if you like
Chrissie

The Foster Grant Sunglasses are very nice 1st quality pieces.
Most have retail tags clearly marked on them with prices up to $24.95ea.
the jewelry is a free bonus that comes the special promotional sale on the sunglasses
We normally see the Foster Grant sunglasses for $1.65ea.
However, due to a special buyyout we were able to get we were able to reduce the price to
$1.50ea. on the 100 pc. pack and include some bonus jewelry items.
All orders are inspected prior to shipment. No items were damaged prior to shipment.
We are not responsible for damage that may be incurred during transit
Sorry, We cannot offer refunds or expect returns on that offer
We will however refund you for 1 missing pair of sunglasses

thx

I for one thing can tell you that foster grant sunglasses are absolute crap. Although thier reading glasses are fairly profitable.

I think the fosters are ok for sub retail $2 to $5 a pair as they are a full staple line of KMART and Kmart gets $8 to $24 a pair... Chrissoula can you post pictures of what you received for us all to see?

Joe, as soon as my partner gets his camera working again, I will post you pictures of the sunglasses, but believe me they are very very poor quality, as I said previously, the markets here in Australia sell 100% better sunglasses for under $15.00 pair and people would rather pay $10-$15 a pair for decent looking sunglasse than $5.00 for poor quality flimsy and the glare of the sun goes straight through the glass, I am not sure if you have physically sited these sunglasses as I see you sell them on your site as well, but the ones I received are extremely poor quality and the way they are packages with cheap plastic covering the middle of the sunglass where the nose meets. These are not worth selling for $5.00 a pair.
