Hi All

I am new to the forum and would be grateful if anyone could help me with import rates to the UK. I have tried searching all over the net to no avail. Is there a simple calculator available where you just put in the value, import from, import to & type of goods which would do this for you.

Any advise would be great.

If only it were that simple! Unfortunately working out import duties/tarriffs is a complex matter and it's usually best to get a customs broker for your first import. How much you have to pay will depend on what classification your goods come under. If your goods aren't correctly classified this can cause expensive delays at Customs.
