I bought some sets of picture frames (it was like 10 to a box of varying sizes) for about $5 from a local craft store that had clearanced them. I turned around and sold them for no less than $20 per box.

The wholesale business can be lucrative as well, the repeat buyers of 25 or 50 pieces are always welcome but every now and again it is nice to reel in a big fish that orders a truck load of goods.

I bought a 40 foot container full with ride on toys, cars motorcycles and jeeps 6 and 12 volt
I paid $20 for a small motorcycle sold them on Ebay for $85
I paid $40 each for a 12V dirt bike sold them for $195 each. I paid $80 for each jeep that will hold up to 110 lbs or 2 kids and sold them for $300 each. Now I have a warehouse selling all kind of items other than ride on toys.

& have finally got a bid on 2 items but all the new stuff people reckon is too much but I can't go lower cause I will loose again.

The best thing you can do is use an auction site to bid on items for a little while. Purchase some things, move around.

Then start listing all your products.

Finally, drive traffic directly to your online store and your products by the truck full.

Traffic + Content = Sales. Its the only method that always works.


You need alot of traffic to get going or at least a good portion of traffic. TARGETED traffic, as around the 100 visitor mark you normally make a sale and sometimes around the 400 visitor mark. Rarely if ever will you not sell anything at all once you got the traffic piling onto your web store.

The real key is to keep the traffic continuing to pile on, and pile up and that's where other companies like Google Adsense may try to help you.

I kind of backed into this one.
Last Jan.07 I started listing the AMD 939 Toledo proc.4400 and 4800 and the Opteron. I knew it was a decent seller from research but I wasn't expecting what happened.

This was totally a risk as I was listing the item for sale on eBay before I had them. Then when they sold I purchased them. It took about three days to get and then I shipped them.

I did 20,000 in one month. I had people ordering 10 15 and 20 at a time. Mostly overseas.

It was crazy!

I was new to this. Got ripped-off by one guy in Russia and had some serious delays in shipping like one guy didnt get his for 60 days. and another in Brazil for 67 days. I only got 1 neg and profited about 1500.
All of these sales got me PSsilver in about 40 days.

There were actually people on the PS forums pissed at me for getting PS in such a short time. I pissed-off a lot of ebayer sellers on that one too. I undercut them all. :P

I did so much business with this online company that they gave me my own sales agent. Now this is a company that never does discounts or special sales, But I was blowing out their inventory and they likey.

Now you couldn't sell a 939 socket if they paid you.
