promoting with adwordsIs anyone promoting Salehoo with adwords? If so, per how many impressions or clicks do you get a sale?
For example, you get a sale every 100 clicks. Please let me know. I started using adwords last night, I only have a daily budget of $6 to start out with and still have not made any sales. Any help, tips and tricks would be appreciated! :D
SaleHoo simply doesn't convert from my experience. I have driven lots of traffic to 4 wholesale sources - The only source never to convert is SaleHoo.
I don't know whether its because they don't give the credit they should to affiliates or because their landing page content is not conducive to good levels of conversion. Ultimately I don't find SaleHoo a successful affiliate program right now.
You may want to setup a review site making a landing page of the top wholesale sources out there instead of simply linking directly to Salehoo's page.
The reason being is that people like choices, so you have a better chance of converting on not only Salehoo's affiliate program, but other similar sources as well. Get a Fully Stocked Website with DropShip Products Today!

You may want to simply put them in a list.
Salehoo is one of the largest and probably diverse, it has nearly all the different wholesale sources listed. I'd put them on a list template, just a small splash intro page, and then pour all of the traffic onto that page not onto Salehoo.
I started using adwords as well, but unfortunately have not made any money yet. My budget was $20 a day with my keywords ranking in the 1-3 and some in the 4-6 spots. Out of 16,000 impressions from these keywords, I got 150 clicks and got nothing. To me this is a horrible conversion!!
I know that my clickbank hoplink is working, and there is a way that you can check. Copy and paste your hoplink into the address bar at the top of the window. This will send you to the salehoo pitch page or whatever your affiliated with. Go throught the process like you were going to order whatever it is. When it brings you to the clickbank page, go all the way to the bottom and in brackets, it should say your clickbank name. Now if it does, then your hoplink works and any sale through salehoo should register. The only way it wouldn't is if Salehoo is really registered with clickbank with a 0% payout to the affiliate, or something like that. But anyway, I looked into it way before I jumped into the adwords thing, and I have yet to hear of anyone actually making any money with Salehoo as far as affiliates are concerned. I think it is a little fishy that out of 150 clicks of people actually looking into wholesale sites, that not one converts. I honestly think that someone is bombarding competition with clicks to run out everyone elses budget. There is a way to find out who is clicking on the links. If you have a website with HTML, go to ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** and embed this into your site. If you become a member, it will give you the IP address that visits your page and how they got to your page. The free account does this too, which is still useful, but leaves out the last 4 numbers of the IP address, but still gives you the town and state that the connection exists that visited your site. Well, if anyone is actually converting using Salehoo, I'd love to know. Thanks!! :D
This would be 100% correct.... "wholesale" and "wholesale list" are very popular words on Google Adwords, and other campaigns. They won't convert.... What will convert, is the right keywords....niche keywords that you wouldn't think of, they are the keywords that not everyone else is using but they are more obvious than you realize. Find those and put them into the listing and your adwords campaign....even buy a quick adwords guide if possible, that you can read in PDF. Then you'll have conversions all over the place and your budget will still be low. Then, on top of that pile on the automated traffic to your Adwords/Adsense listing and a seperate page with the link too. Pile the thousands of people over there and watch the conversion rates soar, then track the conversion rates and sales, you will want to be able to repeat that!
Yes exactly put, stat away from wholesalers, wholesale, general keywords because the bigger companies like Simplx and others are all buying the top bid for these and you simply won't get conversions on these keywords.
As stated focus on the niche keywords and even better use the corresponding sales landing page that Salehoo provides for great targeted traffic! Get a Fully Stocked Website with DropShip Products Today!

I would like to hear from successfull affiliates.
I have generated about 100 per day to the website, and not one conversion. I guess it all comes down to finetuning your keywords and ad to be successful. But right now, i am not successful at all, i just keep wasting money.
Are you direct linking to SaleHoo or do you have a landing page before you connect them to the SaleHoo site?
You will probably find that direct linking doesn't do as well as creating your own landing page. Get a Fully Stocked Website with DropShip Products Today!

at the moment i have stopped promoting salehoo. I do not wish to waste my money any further.
I will concentrate on better converting sites at this stage, until i learn the art of affiliate marketing. Regards Earn Money The Slack Way!

The other problem you have is if the originator of the program is also promoting the product they get preference!
So if joe blogs is promoting himself, he hets first bite at the cherry, everyone else just gets impressions. I actually closed my Adwords account due to wasted money, I now use 2 other methods that dont cost me a penny, however I get around £900 per week ($1800) commission payments.
