I know this has been gone over before for the States and I am not sure that it ever got anywhere, but i do not think that it has been covered for Aussie Buyers......

It would be good to get a few Aussie Buyers together with Different contacts and all join together to Buy Goods in Bulk and get Cheaper prices all round for those involved

Any Ideas or inputs from anyone in Oz/NZ would be good

I am open to ideas.

I have been looking at Phones, Generic MP4 Players (not to sell on eBay) and DVD's.

I have had a few samples of Phones from overseas, I am waiting on MP4 players and DVD's seem nigh on impossible to get.

Any further Ideas?

Well As I said I have had some samples (5 phones) which came through OK and work fine on the Phone front - It seems like a good connection at reasonable prices.

I'm still waiting on the MP4 player sample.

There is no real way to make it 100% safe when buying from overseas (unless you collect the goods yourself), but the shipping is insured, but even that can be problamatical.

What suggestions do you have?

Where abouts in Au are you?

Maybe take this off the forum and use the Private email contact through Salehoo...

Order Quantities for the Phones are Minimum 20 (that would be 10 each)

I am still awaiting the sample for the MP4 Players - 8GB Apple Nano LOOKALIKE, but again the quantity would be 20 (10 each) - Coming in from China

Phones - EG Motorola V3, Nokia 8800 - Are there any particular phones you are after?

I could order and pay for the goods and your Stock can be paid for by Bank Transfer or PayPal if you want to pay the PayPal premium. For small orders (less than $1000) I would need a deposit and for larger orders it would have to be cash up front.

Is it worth someone going direct to the manufacturer. say for phones? should we go direct to nokia Australia and see if we can get $10,000 (I think that is the minimum purchase) and do it that way? would they not be cheaper than a wholesaler??

It could be worth talking to Nokia - Why don't you give it a go and see what results you get and report back here.

As of yet we have not really done anything yet - I will look into the N95's
