Been there done that... once for $100+ :)
Bottom line when you deal with a new small supplier: - never pay with Western Union or similar - never pay with cash - don't pay with a check - don't pay with a credit card - don't use Paypal, paypal won't accept refund if sellers account is closed... Well.... good luck with that :)
So, how are we supposed to pay?? From what you are saying... We shouldnt buy at all!
You forgot wire transfers! :D
You should receive a phone number or website on your credit card summary for the transaction.
I don't think you can be ripped off..and not know who ripped you off!!!!!!
saprano should give members more facts.
Just look on the back of you credit card and there will be an 800 number for customer support. If you cannot find it on your card, look on you statement and it will have one there. Then call them and explain to them what has happened and they will give you the options that you have...
Also if you have your account set up so that you can view it online, just log in and click on "latest transactions", you should be able to view all of the info on the specific transaction form there..If you are not set up on line you can go to the cards website and set up your online account in just a couple of minutes. It would be to your advantage to have it set up on line so you can view the info while you are talking on the phone to the customer service rep..
