I am looking for all Affiliate Program Promoters

Post jonaam 08/02/2007 21:39

Do you have your own website promoting affiliate programs?

Would you like to share ideas and your own websites with each other in promoting affiliate programs?

Maybe we can learn some ideas and secrets off each other.

Hello,
well i am kinda new to this whole thing, but i am currently working on a new website, which should be pretty unique. Its going to have wholesale lists, ebay-help, and ebook sections (all which buyers can purchase products/lists/ect from us personally). But the cool thing is I have this idea that anyone with an affiliate product (who uses clickbank) can post there product in a seperate section, and use my website as more of a promoter tool. My thinkinking is that this site should get tons of traffic, simply because of the diversity of it. Dunno though we shall see....I will post the link under my name when its up and running here in the next few weeks. Any other ideas out there?

I dont want to burst your bubble tscott, but there are many sites out there doing similar/exactly the same as you.

Getting traffic to your site is not easy. Firstly your domain needs to be added to as many search engines as possible and even then you are fighting for organic listings with thousands of other websites. Unless your on page 1 of search results pages you are unlikely to see much traffic and unless you really know a lot about SEO you are unlikely to get close to page 1. The major wholesaler websites dominate the front page of Google already on related keywords.

Your only real option is to drive traffic via Google PPC. Again if you have never done this before it can be costly and you may end up driving a lot of irrelevant traffic that won't convert.

Having said that I wish you good luck with it all. Just keep realistic and think about getting as many key terms into your content. Do a search on google for "keyword density tool". You should be looking for around 8-12% for keywords/phrases that you want to focus on within your content.

Actually tscott, it IS possible to get alot of traffic going through your website in a shorter time without using pay per click viewing.

Here is an example of some websites who have done so...

As you can see from the above, some have as many as 1,000 + hits SINCE february 17, 2007

How is that physically possible?

Through the power of automated traffic. If you want to learn more, PM me. I can show you how to list your website in "EVERY" search engine, legitimately and still literally pour and send a avalanche of traffic to your website. Many times it will also be TARGETED traffic, but I won't give out any of the methods on here. Just know that you can do it without spending a single penny.

yeah i like i said this is all kinda new to me, so we will see. By no means did i invision tons of traffic overnight, especially right off. This is just kinda a side to my growing ebay business, and I enjoy working with and designing websites, so i thought it would be interesting to see where it could go. Hopefully i can direct additional traffic through my ebay sales, as well as the major search engines, but i really have no idea, as this is all pretty new....kinda got to play it by ear and see what happens. haha

But having said that i do really appreciate the help from both of you, and you can both be sure i will pm you once i get my site finished. Thanks again for the help!

Hey be sure and give me a ring when your site's done.

Oh if you're looking for really bottom bargain deals, I have to highly reccomend ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** as the first place. Look at the clearout sections, and you'll find things often times just being thrown away.

Hey that's a great way of getting targeted visitors to join your newsletter!

Its worked on me. I want to sign up for the newsletter, where do I go to do it? ;)

Its also a great way to expand affiliate programs so I will probably try some of these techniques myself now. Pretty neat!

I personally think that affiliate marketing is a much better idea for people just starting out learning about wholesaling, selling on eBay etc. especially if they are on limited funds. You can get decent returns on money spent and learn a good deal about website design, search engine tactics, product research, marketing etc. without busting your bank account on product orders.

If you're on limited funds and just getting a feel for what you're doing, I would definitely recommend looking at affiliate stuff over options like dropshipping.

affiliate promoting website

Post meatball 23/11/2007 03:21

Hi,

If you do not have any particular items in mind, i do have a website that promotes affiliation with lots of traveling and tours companies. Just go to visit.placesscp.com and visit them through the banners or links in the website. They are free, no stocking issues etc. Some of them carries cookies up to 1 year. Thus good for low traffic websites :D . Another website is irresistibledomain.com where I promote domain registration and webhosting. Check it out & good luck!
