Drop shiping Imports

Post bri8162000 30/10/2007 23:43

I've had some good luck importing popular a product from my Chinese gold seller and re-selling for a decent profit on E-bay but instead of buying one at a time, I would like to sell more on my website by drop shipping. Is there anyone who is having success with 7-10 day shipping? I would guess that if the product is a hot seller customers will wait.

7 days is not a long period to wait and probably most buyer could live with that. At 10 days they might be a bit skiddish..

If you are planning on selling this product from your website, just make sure that this intended shipping time is well stated and noticable. If your customer is aware that the shipping is going to take that long before they buy, then obviously they would have no problem with it. If they think that is too long, then they will shop around elsewhere and no harm done..Just make sure that they will be aware of this fact BEFORE they hit the "buy" button...

Also if you think there is going to be a potential problem, buy a few extras and keep them on hand in case a back order issue comes up and you will be able to send the ones you have in physical stock...until your supplier catches back up on his stock..

it should not take that longer from china.VIA EMS,it takes 5 days always if your supplier are located in beijing or shanghai.
search for "the ins and outs" of any product in china before you import from china.

PS:if you are selling brand name prodcut, just be careful of the custom, which may get your prodcut stopped, then the delivery time will take longer.
