Purchasing from wholesalers, liquidators, dropshippers

Post Horse 13/11/2007 14:59

Hi just joined the other day and curious/confused, if I order from wholesaler, dropshipper, liquidator etc... does the product or products actually physically get sent to my address? and then I can sell at my own discretion ie through ebay, to local outlets or amongst my friends? Sorry if this sounds stupid but I really don't know.
I see 100 xbox 360 platinum systems for $17,000

(I see that they are not available for export but lets say they are)If I buy do they simply ship to my address and everything is hunky dorey? I can sell whatever way I want and they will work perfectly? Seems too good to be true really!?
I registered with liquidation.com days ago but I'm still waiting on confirmation e-mail.

If you order from a wholesaler or liquidator then the product will be delivered to your address - whether that be home or warehouse. On the other hand, a drop shipper delivers straight to the customer. You might find this article from our resource area helpful:

When using Liquidation you do need to be very careful about what exactly you order. Not everything is in 'as new' condition. Some merchandise may be returns, broken or damaged goods or shop soiled. Other merchandise will simply be left over stock. You need to read the descriptions carefully and ask questions to determine what is actually inside the lot you are bidding on. Don't get me wrong, liquidation is a fantastic way of getting some great stuff at hugely reduced prices - but you can also be stung with a load of junk too so it pays to be careful.

I suggest searching this forum for 'liquidation' and reading some posts by other members to learn more.

Be careful with the shipping
cost also. When I first started I won
an auction from Liquidation.com and got burned
with the shipping They were more than the merchandise. Example I was looking at some neon signs and they were cheep, and I looked at the shipping and it blew me away.

Also check liquidationtime.com they have
small lots.
