posting perfumes in Australia?

Post foxyroxy 18/01/2008 06:12

does anyone here sell perfumes in Australia?

if so, how do you post them?

i had a look at Australia Post's website which from my reading appears to say that as perfumes are flammable, they are classified as 'dangerous goods' & cannot be posted?

is that correct? or am I reading it wrong?

if that is the case, how do all the people on ebay post their perfumes?

any help would be greatly appreciated

People post them illegally!

I was selling a certain product on eBay and I had a special courier to deliver it (due to the high flamable content) when I got talking to my supplier he told me he had had to close 7 accounts in the past 3 days because they were posting the "highly inflamable" product by Royal Mail...which is illegal!

It only needs a spark and thats it!
