I have great news! I found a service on the Internet called Boxaroo that makes selling & shipping VERY EASY and it's free to become a member.

I just bought a pallet from Jimmy Salehoo Profit Packs and I can't wait to start listing the items on Boxaroo like I did last week with some wholesale electronics.

By using Boxaroo, I was able to get my listing up on eBay in seconds. The sign-up process is easy, they don't require any sensitive information and their listing form is simple. They've got a great database with stock photos and ready-made descriptions so for many items all you do is select your item from the list and approve your auction.

The listing form has little help boxes that walk you through each part of the form! They also let you upload as many photos as you want for unique items that may not be in the database, and even that's easy. I've got a busy schedule but I can always find a few minutes during the day to list my stuff.

When your item sells, Boxaroo collects payment from the top bidder and then sends you a box, packing materials and a pre-paid shipping label. All you do is pack your item and send it off! They also track the package to its destination and then pay you 80% of the final sale price. Compare that too the traditional fees from Ebay and Paypal, not to mention supplies costs for shipping and time wasted finding the right sized box and printing a shipping label.

Wow, I just had a good look around Boxaroo. What a great idea. I wish it were available in Australia. It's so easy and would save me heaps of time and money in listing on eBay - and costs nothing if the item doesn't sell. I'd never heard of it till I read this posting. If and when it becomes available to use on eBay Australia, I'll be in like Flynn.

I just checked this site out and sent one of the founders an email with some questions. If any of you have used this site and know the answers that would be great. Here is a copy of the questions I sent.


Couple of questions about your site:

- If the auction is being listed and sold under an ebay selling id other than my own, how is it that the buyer pays through my paypal? Since ebay owns paypal, they can and do share info and when the seller's id and PP id don't match up won't that raise some flags?
- Would I be able to follow the auction while it is running? And if so, would that then mean that once the item is posted I would be given the id number of the auction?
- If I read the site correctly, your only fee is to recoup the ebay fees, which I am assuming you will give us a breakdown that will correspond to ebays fee structure, and to pay either the $2 or $4 fee depending on which shipping route we choose to take?
- And, only because my mind is so cynical now, what is to stop people from completely destroying your feedback by not shipping stuff or shipping stuff that then gets item not described claims, etc.? I mean, if the seller gets paid, pays you your fees and shipping costs, but then does not actually ship the item.....they could totally scam the seller and get your selling account a big fat red negative AND ding your DSR stars? Not that I would do that, I'm just saying, doesn't that risk exist and how do your protect your account and its value to me, your customer, as a highly rated selling channel with the sort of good feedback that attracts buyers?
