I already have 2 buyers that have preordered for a Pallet of Handbags. So they will be guaranteed the first lot I can get my hands on. But if more come avaliable or this lot is bigger then they prepaid for I will note it.

Maybe they haven't read this post yet. Jimmy is usually pretty good at getting back. Guess he is busy. Anyone with info please let me know how these pallets are. Thanks

I purchased few at an outlet and I lost on few and barely came even on the others. I don't think they're marked down enough to sell them for profit on ebay

Wendy, I found the leather ones do well. You have to research the bags before going in. What I do is if I am not sure is get a pad and write the serial numbers of the ones you want to buy. Go online on your phone or a computer at home and look them up. The go back and purchase. I also call my wife from the place and have her look them up from home or work. That part is a pain though. Hope this helps

Try their homepage :http://store.dooney.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpSctDspRte.jsp?section=12681 and then click on the "specials" link at the top right of the page those will be the bags on sale and discounted...

Also check out “Belks,” “TJ Maxx” and Dillared’s stores, I find dooney’s there all the time and usually at the end of the seasons the mark them down 50 to 80% when the new ones come in. Let me know if I can be of any help...

Gulfy, Thank you so much for your help! I don't know but I think that prices on D & B bags must be higher where I live because I bought 2 bags at TJ MAXX yesterday. I checked the completed listings on ebay and all these bags sold for less than I paid. There really is nothing to mark down after season because everything is sold out. I've been checking TJ MAXX stores a lot in my area. I guess it depends which area you live in. I also went on D & B site and clicked on the specials and checked 4 bags against completed listings and all the bags sold for less than the sale price on Dooney & Bourke bags. I'm really frustrated because I'm down money selling these bags. I probably should have given up by now.I don't want to be down on myself but that's how I feel.

Thanks - Wendy

Wendy,

The best way is to go to D&B outlet and also Coach Outlet and try what I told you. I do this all the time and you will get some great items that you will profit over $100.00. You really just have to do your homework and make sure you are going to make some profit after the four fees on Ebay. Some of these will relist more than once so calculate this too. I don't know why people sell these purses so cheap. They want to make sure they have the lowest price but don't make any profit. What this does is makes everyone else lower their prices and the bags sell for a loss. There is no magic wholesaler that will sell these purses to you for less than the outlets will. If they do then they are probably fake or selling for much less on Ebay. TJ Maxx and other places like that are sometimes a good place to find these purses but it is really hit or miss for what you are looking for. It is also a lot of time and gas going to those types of places if you aren't finding what you want to sell. Look for alternative places to sell other than just Ebay. Craigslist works, Ebid.net is slow but may pick up. Tomorrow get your own business My Space. You can look at mine. My my space is The Handbag House. They let you link directly to your site or Ebay store and the good thing is My Space is free! I had a designer custom design my Ebay store. You can take a look at it. My username is Stevedarp. Let me know and I will give you the designers name. She is excellent and will work with you even after it is complete. Going directly to the outlets is the way to go. Get to know someone that will hold bags for you, or even better that will call you when there is a sale and will put bags aside for you. Handbags are very slow because of the economy. I still sell the purses but have also been trying some of the products plus items that Jimmy sells. If you have any questions, please contact me. I get very frustrated sometimes and maybe we can learn the best solution together. It is so frustrating sometimes and I know this first hand. Just hang in there and don't give up. Thanks
