I'm for sure getting three of the PS3's. What would be the best time to sell them? Should I wait till Christmass? Or sell them opening day? Opinions Please!

wait for xmas. as ive said in another post, sony wont be resuppling stores for a while, and most people will sell there PS3s early. but then come xmas PS3 demand will be higher and supply will be lower, thens the time to sell

Another shipment is supposed to hit near thanksgiving. They will keep coming in slowly from here on out

I've just seen several PS3's selling for $4,500 on ebay! I hope mine sell for that much! :D

Yeah but if you notice the PS3's look at the feedback of the bidders bidding them that high. Most are 0-4 feedbacks. Those bidders will never pay, they are just trying to crap out the sellers auction And delaying the actual sale of the item. The more legitimate prices are around 2,400

Well its release day and the prices on ebay seem to have dropped. Does anyone know if they are going to go back up?

Put a couple up now With a buy it now of $4,000 add a game or two and offer fast shipping. I bet you'll have someone that will bite.

I just traded some kid a $1800 47 widescreen tv I bought from a guy I know that lost his job and he needed fast cash. I paid $350 bucks for the tv it was 1-2 months old and traded it today for the playstation3.

I'm putting them on my watch list on ebay. Since the release they seem like they have dropped in price. Before the release they were all selling for over $2,500 easy, now since they've been released they're barely selling for $2,000. What should I try to sell these for?

Right now since ebay is flooded with the ps3 units the prices will slow.
Just keep your eye on them if there isnt a big release of the units soon then they will pick back up as supply gets slimmer.

Listings of the PS3's are getting lower. The search result on had 980+ auctions for the PS3's. I'm just going to have to wait for the prices to jump back up.

I would wait till before xmas. Most people posted them right away. Wait till the supply on ebay drops a bit. Worst case you still have a 30-90 day return window on the product. Now the wii's will be a different story. There will be more supply coming out all the time. Prices will change but in time not for the better

I have a feeling that some ps3's will be put back on ebay as people use them. From the E3 demo's ive seen the console seriously lacks.
They should have spent more time on the graphics then on a 500 blueray drive.

I wasnt very impressed with the console at all.If I had a choice Id get the Wii
