Well jennifer Im not sure about wholesale deals but I recently purchased a camera system for my home. I was originally looking to just get some home automation items for my christmas lights so I didnt have to run outside in the cold to turn my lights off. And I found this site that had some pretty cool software that you can virtually control your house with.

I initially got the starter kit and have since added some more to it. I also bought a mini camera which I have bolted on the roof of my carport watching my truck. And the floodlamp under the carport is actually a x10 floodlamp with a motion sensor.
the program that came with the starter kit is set that when the motion sensor is tripped the lights under the carport come on and the camera instantly starts recording. Most of the time We catch the cat climbing on the hood but once when it tripped the camera caught the back of someone as they were running down the driveway, scared by the lights comming on.

We have had a problem before with people breaking into our vehicals and stealing stuff from inside. So this helps. I will soon be adding several more cameras to the outside of the house including the front porch so I my wife can see whos outside before entering.

This isnt really wholesale but these guys are the original x10 people so they have the cheapest prices. All in all it was actually pretty cheap and easy to setup. Check it out and tell me what you think.

They are good prices but the product isn't good. I talked with them before and was asking them about the quality and its not good at all. Its unable to read a license plate even at close distance. so if you just need a camera for a rough image then the x10 is for you but if you need clarity then I would go with another product.

Well for security purposes. I quite like the camera I have. Ive never thought too much about the clarity as I can view my driveway just fine. But yeah If you want to see if your purpetrator has an acne problem I guess this is not the camera for you :lol:
