I have been endlessly trawling through the internet looking for a niche product to sell, and have stumbled across lots of people trying to get me to sell eBooks. Is this a good market to get into? any advice gratefully received!!

Ebooks and other digital items have done really well for me. The best part of it all is there is no shipping!link hidden WHOLESALE LIST

The best way to create an ebook in my experience is to use OpenOffice's word processor and convert it to PDF format."Failure is not when you fall down. Failure is when you don't get back up."

There are quite a few sites out there that will host the files for you so you can just send your buyers a link to download it.link hidden WHOLESALE LIST

grahamg, I'm thinking about selling ebooks, I want to know if you could recommend me a place where I could buy good quality ebooks from? I see these 'ebook packages' advertised all over the Net, but dont know if that is good quality stuff or just junk not worth buying. I'm really looking for the absolute best.

Members on here have been recommending Bidpay as an alternative to Paypal. I personally have not used Bidpay, but I have heard that their fees are considerably lower than Paypal.

Bidpay charges 2.1% on transaction fees while paypal charges 2.9%. If you, let say receive a payment of $500 then your bidpay transaction fee will total you $10.50 while paypal charge you $14.50 NOW that's a saving of $4 on transaction fee which is great. Another good thing about bidpay is that once you receive a payment, wait 24 hrs then it will go directly to your checking account not like paypal where you still have to transfer the balance from your paypal account to your checking account and wait 2-3 days to be able to transfer the funds...

Yes it is a real saving and the fact that your funds will go directly to your checking account is an A Plus =) Oh by the way, once you register, they will need a scanned copy of your driver's license, bank statement, and utility bill. This is just there way to verify your infomation. It is safe =)

The only thing with BidPay is that it doesn't link directly up to the post office for shipping purposes. You have to go to whatever site & retype all the info. If anyone knows any different quicker way please let me know. Overall though, BidPay is the way to go!

I convert 1 in 7 buyers to get the resale rights! Not bad with over 200 sales per week.
I realise Paypal still get a share of the profit though, thats why I am looknig for an alternative merchant account - any suggestions??

Im interested in digital products, mainly in the area of downloadable software for 'PC Satellite TV' and Mobile phone downloadable software. Would like to hear from any of the members if they have been involved in this area. What the pros and cons are, and any distributors that maybe able to give me the MRR (Master Resale Rights) for the digital softaware, so that I can become a reseller. I dont if this is possible, as I have been searching, probably in the wrong area

It's not quite 'PC Satellite' but RebrandSoftware.com has an excellent brandable TV-on-PC application. I've had a couple of products built by them and they convert pretty well (specifically, I've given away one to sell something as an upsell, and sold another, and both served the intended purpose.)"Failure is not when you fall down.
