My phone didn't cost anywhere close to what an iPhone costs. It plays MP3s (like an iPhone), and has fairly fast Internet access. It also has tons of tools. The only thing the iPhone has that mine doesn't is a touch screen...which I don't want.
Basically, the iPhone is marketing hype but NOTHING new. That said, I think it will be crazy popular because people see the commercials and don't realize how behind iPhones really are. I hope they enjoy paying tons of money for something they can get for half the cost. -

Beware of the knock-offs that many china suppliers will also try and be selling. Most always china sources do NOT sell genuine apple products. -

Apple says they already have what about 1 million buyers registered or some crap to buy the Iphone.
So that's about 500 million dollars alone.
I was wandering if it has a camera
Nokia n95 could be better but i could be wrong -

I have the Verizon XV-6700 is pretty much the same thing as the iphone but costs way less. You should look into it. -

I would assume it won't be any faster than most other phones. My Internet on my current phone is WAY FASTER than my old phone, and it still sucks. I don't see how the iPhone will be any different.
And again, my phone does everything the iPhone does (plays music, has Internet, etc.) but cost me about 65% less and doesn't have the colorful little buttons.
The iPhone looks like a Fisher Price toy, if you ask me. -

i was gonna buy the i phone but the type of internet it will be using is pretty slow,
its outdated....
get the ppc 6800 instead -

Apple says they they will make like 3 billion dollars just from iphone in 2 years. they said they will beat there old record of making 3 billion or more in 15 years!

There are a couple of sources out there (only 1 I believe is legit) that are selling genuine apple iphones to the general public.
