    Chinavasion is not a genuine company - The facts

    I just posted my discovery early this morning, onto the fraud watcher forum, as I just joined the salehoo today, I thus share this with the community here:

    I was living in Guangzhou, PR China for over ten years. I just found that the Chinavasion's google map (link hidden) is abolutely wrong because, it says its office in Shenzhen city, but they put the Guangzhou city Google map in showing their Shenzhen city office address.

    We suspect that the Chinavasion deliberately crafted this wrong Google map address to mislead the genuine public and this company should be removed from the HKTDC website.

    We also reported this ugly act done by the Chinavasion to the HKTDC for further investigation.

    You would never try to do business with the entity who gave you the fraudulent identity, would you.

    I have to say that I am no where near convinced of their intention to mislead customers as you are, however anything that is misleading is always a concern.

    I have never personally dealt with Chinavision, but do know several that have been dealing with them for a few years now, and while there has always been minor issues, they are more than happy to continue to use them up until this day.

    We have noted that ebay seems to have been deleting quite a few Chinavision products that members were listing of late, however no one really seems to have gotten to the bottom of this situation.

    I have raised you concerns with admin and they are now in the process of sending a please explain so we can get this cleared up for you.

    Well when it is time for the business, I would not commit the money to the supplier who's made something wrong on their identity (in this case, their office address).

    Regardless whatever reason for causing this mistake, I don't care. However, to many new customers who are wanting to do business with them in the 1st time, this turns out to be the dishonest concern.

    Yes some people may think it is not a big deal, but it is a good question to take into consideration for the 1st time buyers who don't know this company, when it comes to the moment of truth to commit your money to this wholeseller.

    Thank you for raising this concern and follow up with them. We will be keen to know their explanation.

    The Google map could be an error by HKTDC rather than Chinavasion. As Fudjj mentioned, we are currently in the process of contacting both Chinavasion and HKTDC to see what they have to say about this.

    In Chinvasion's favour:
    * They have been in our supplier database for sometime now and we have not had any complaints.
    * Their domain name is registered until 2013, a good sign.
    * There are no complaints of fraud on the internet. Usually there are dozens of public complaints in comments on forums etc if a company is fraudulent.

    I am certain Chinavasion is a legitimate company and that this is just a mistake. Will keep you posted :)

    HI there,

    I have purchased quite a few things from chinavasion and have not had a problem. They deliver items very fast and they are as described and very good value for money.

    AS I learned with Megagoods, Google Earth may not always be perfectly exact.

    I only use it as part of my analysis now not as an end all.

    I have been with Chinavision for awhile and have had nothing but super customer service. I have been selling their cellphones. My customers have been very happy with the product. I had one faulty cellphone and Chinavision was very happy to refund my funds with no questions except what might have been wrong with the item. When I would like some information on products or tech info, I use the chat line they have set up. Never a problem. I think before someone says don't use someone, they need a stern investigation on their part of what might really be the problem. Just don't say it's someone's fault when you do not know all the answers or problems.

    LISTEN GUYS , CHINAVASION HAS NO PROBLEMS. i have been downloading alot of products. seen wonderful electronics. better than here in the states. i get great deals sent to me by email. think before you write. and most of all. use your common sense. take time to think. ask questions. they will stand by you when you need help.

    I have used chinavasion for approx 4 years. I have bought over 100 nintendo wii consoles/packages and have never had a problem, always received everything I paid for. They have dropshipped to several of my customers without any problem too, so I trust them 100%

    I'm a little confused. So I was doing some homework on google because I wanted to make a purchase from link hidden & I found a lot of bad reviews for them & chinavasion, etc. Do I go by Salehoo or google? Some people could just make up stuff right? I'm not sure...do I take the leap and gamble or not?

    I would gather more reviews. Then see if there are any current, and satisfied dropshippers working with Chinavision. I know I am still looking for a reliable source from China for simple gadgets. You are taking precautions which is wise. Usually if it sounds to good to be true. I would look elsewhere. Eventually you will find someone to work with you.

    I am now confused little bit , they just send me email today to sign to their affiliate program .
    Since i have decided to have a website i was going to sign to their program , and by just reading today this topic i think i feel is safe .
    I trust salehoo and if they say there was not many problems with Chinavasion , i think i will do it.
    I deal with public everyday and i know it is really difficult to satisfied everybody 100 % , in my opinion there is not many businesses which will have 100% satisfied customers

    Your point is very valid etro, no matter how hard you try you will never please 100% of people, 100% of the time, that's just a fact in business.

    Everyone has different levels of expectation with suppliers, no matter what type of supplier they are, and despite best business practices, even the best suppliers sometimes stuff up.

    I don't think any review should ever be ignored, no matter where it is read, however I believe that everything has to be put in context to create a balanced independent opinion.

    I know members who have been dealing with Chinavision for years, some aren't happy, some are completely satisfied and couldn't be happier with the results.

    I was on Chinavision's web site and believe their Elite Pro memory cards are counterfeit. This is based on conversations I have had with Kingston (who's brand is Elite Pro) and also by searching Google.

    For example: Chinavision offers an "Elite Pro 64gb memory card" and if you look closely at the picture it shows the number "94110-925.A00F" printed directly on the card.

    According to Kingston cards with these numbers are non-working counterfeits. Also I saw several post searching Google verifying this. The buyer's had inserted the card in their device and it was not recognized.

    So my question is this? If these are indeed fake ripoffs why are they on Salehoo as trusted suppliers?

    Has anyone bought any memory cards from Chinavision?

I had order over a thousand dollar worth of stuff from them and had since eligible for their bronze member discount. I've also returned defective products to them with much ease! On one occasion they upgraded my shipping option free due to delays on their side, which I was very impressed! While their prices are not fantastic low, they get their appeal via fast shipping time and excellent personalized customer service!

    You can trust them, customer service is excellent! Just talk to the online sales rep using the chat function and you might be impressed too.

    Chinavasion have been the only genuine company I've come across so far.
    I have been trying to find the right company to buy products from. I've been ripped off so many times and Chinavasion is the first company that send my product.
    I have send my second order tonight, and i'm happy dealing with them.

    People may say that they are not genuine or what else, but all I know that Chinavasion is the first company that have send me my products I purchased and they didn't rip me off like other companies.
