    Webshophotel.com - a scam site or not?

    Hi anyone used link hidden?

    Need to know if they are a scam or not please?

    Hi 00dkeati,

    I did a search for some reviews on them through Google but did not find any. Upon looking through their website, it doesn't really look like a scam site and the products and services that they provide are not the kind that scammers use to lure people. But with reliability, we can't really know for sure unless we get feedbacks and reviews from people who were able to use their services before.

    What worries me is the fact that I couldn't find any contact details. When I clicked on the 'Customer Service' link, I was redirected to their registration/log in page. Also, their whois result showed that they have only been online in 2008.

    This may help, I have noitced in the agreement the following statement, it looks as though it's a mail drop. Take a very carefull look at the agreement you may have problems with returns.

    I noticed for a domain store it's about $10.00 my duaghter spends more then that in one day with Starbucks coffee. If they use Paypal you can always cancel the subscritpion.

    Seems like everything is shipped from Hong Kong. One problem I have always ran into is our society is a fast food society,which means we want it know. Customers may cancel if the wait is to long.

    Just some thoughts

    Btiger has a point but as long as you make it clear to your buyers that the products will come from Hong Kong so it might take longer to get to them, then, that should be okay. Of course, though, the idea won't appeal to those who want their products fast. We also have to consider that they offer customized products which normally takes a bit longer than regular products to be delivered. Some suppliers of custom-made/personalized products are pretty strict with returns for obvious reasons but webshophotel offers a 30-day money back guarantee. This you have to confirm with them and enquire about any limitations not mentioned.

    I have recently purchased a product from China which I had to return but after considering that the Initial shipping fee + return will be much higher than the refund I will get, I decided to forget about it and move on :(
