I live in WI and am wondering if it is possible to come to your warehouse to browse some pallets and possibly pick one up and bring it home with me!! Please let me know!! Thanks for all the wonderful insight and wealth of information you bring to this forum!! I am an Ebay powerseller doing mainly clothing and handbags right now, but I am looking to expand my business into other categories of product and I think your pallets may be the right move for me. Please contact me at ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members**!! I look forward to talking with you!! Thank you!! :)

I would have no problem with this, However right now this is just a discussion to which I am looking for interest before I buy a large amount of product. If I see enough interest I will start stocking up on pallets and possibly expand my warehouse size to accommodate more pallets. Right Now I can hold 3 truckloads worth of product. My goal is to be able to hold 6-7 truckloads if I intend on expanding my company to start distributing pallets. This will probably start happening in the next month or two as im seeing quite a bit of interest in this. I will probably be getting some pallet scales so I can give a proper shipping quote to buyers that only want to order pallets. When we do start this I will probably design a website for this new project.

Hi Jimmy, I'm interested just like everyone else. My question is how do you come up with the wholesale value of these pallets?

Will there be a minimum number of pallets we would have to purchase?

Were actually given the estimated wholesale by the distribution company. That does not mean that the pallet will sell even close to the wholesale value its just based on what they throw into them. You may pay 350-400 for a pallet that has $1500 whaolesale value in products but as I said its a gamble you may sell it on ebay for 350-700. It just varies by pallet. I prefer to sell whole truckloads myself because I can literally guarantee myself alot of profit for the whole load. So if one pallet isnt that good I have other pallets with high resale value items to buffer the loss if a pallet sells lower then expected.

Also a deciding factor is what you choose to throw away vs sell in a yard sale. We actually have 6 pallets right now that we are holding for yard sales. We can sell the item for $5.00-$20.00 in a yard sale and make a profit on the item without having to deal with shipping charges. Theres alot of good items in these pallets that are worth money but shipping may kill the value.

Its a mighty big yard sale but big yard sales gain much higher attention then a yard sale selling only a few dozen items. I will actualy be borrowing 15 8 foot tables to stretch out what I have set aside for the yard sale. And I will probably make around $2,000 -$3,000 off of those 6 pallets I could not sell on ebay.

Any experienced pallet buyer will know the risks and how to make money off of these pallets.

I have seen many high value items tossed out by other sellers because the box was badly damaged. I have taken those same items and taped them up and sold them close to thier retail value. So what they think is junk I sold for $30-$70

I had 2 pallets on my last load that were full of heavily taped up pot and pan sets. Originaly I thought they were junk and I was selling them to friends for $10 a stack. I then later found out that they were worth good money individually. I ended up selling most of those 2 pallets for over $6,000

Hello,
Due to your quick reply on another topic, I have reason to believe that you would be an honest perseon to do business with. Plus, the pricing, from what I am caluculating in my head, is good enough to turn a decent profit margin.
I too, would be interested in buying several pallets. Let me know.

Ok sorry for a late response . I have been very busy over the last few weeks. I have been calling up retailers across the nation trying to get thier contact information to whom I need to get in touch with to buy these truckloads directly from that retailer. And I found out some very interesting news.

The suppliers I have been using have been ripping me off of possible profits my company could have made on truckloads we have been purchasing. After contacting several companys untill finally information I needed. Its kind of funny but when you call these people you usually get about 20 different people that have no clue what your talking about. And finally after many calls you finally get someone who does.

Ok After setting up broker accounts with these companys. I found out that these retailers stack thier pallets taller. Cleaner and have a much smaller unsellable product percentage then I was even getting on my pallet sales.
I was paying much smaller prices but the quality was generally different per pallet. I was getting pallets for $300 to $350 but the pallets had 25% and some even more damaged or unsellable per pallet.

For instance. The current price for one retailers pallets direct from the retailer is $550 per pallet. With a minimum perchase of 72 pallets. I was buying from paying $400 per pallet for 48 pallets supposedly from the same company. But did not know I was getting bunkers filled with items the liquidator couldnt sell themselves. They pulled most of the valueable items off the pallets leaving us with smaller valued items.

And these pallets are approx 6 Feet tall sometimes higher. And that the pallets are guaranteed to have a wholesale value of $2,500 or Higher. This retailer states directly that they do not lower thier price PERIOD. They also have standards to the quality of the items in these pallets. Alot of the items are still new. While some are returns that are in great shape.

They sent me pictures of these pallets and to my astonishment they look nothing like the pallets I have been recieving from other liquidation companies. They are pallets. Clean Stacked with all the smaller items in heavy duty boxes to protect them.

Not a gaylord with all the items thrown into it. And half the items that are still good I have to do tape surgery to make the packaging look presentable. And the remaining are crushed at the bottom of the gaylord.

Your average liquidator claims about 25% to be damaged the retailer claims 10% for the same load. So what does this mean. We know that the retailers want you to order 72 pallets or more. This means that the liquidator is cherry picking the pallets and taking the good electronic items off the load. The leave all the 20 dvd players on the load and some other small electronics worth crap on ebay. They probably purshased 140 pallets. and after alot of cherry picking they just dump the remanents of each pallet into a gaylord and sell it for $350-$400. But they removed the best valued items. You can still profit on this kind of pallet but your chances are slimmer. And you will have to sell more to make more.

With the retailer lots you will probably make alot more money on them.

So I will be ordering directly from one of these retailers. Companies I can purchase loads from are Macys, Jcpennys, Target, Big 5 Sporting Goods. And im currently in the process of setting broker accounts up with Wal-Mart. Sears, Kmart, Playit Again Sports and more.

I will be getting a New Load in From Target Stores this Week and will have a massive amount that I will need to clear out before hand.

My price will be a bump $35.00 on each pallet above my cost on them. I think this is a fair price to bump since I will not cherry pick these pallets at all.

The current load I will sell the excess pallets for $455.00 Plus Shipping. Minimum is 1 pallet . $3,000 Average in product on 1 pallet

A truckload with 12 pallets is $5460 Plus Freight You may arrange shipping or we can arrange it through freightquote. $36,000 average in product on 1 truckload.

A truckload with 24 Pallets is $10,900 Plus Freight You may arrange shipping or we can arrange it through freightquote. $72,000 average in product on 1 truckload.

We also have Sporting Goods truckloads avaliable. But we can only sell truckloads and there are location restriction on who we can sell these to. So you will need to message me in advance with your location. $8,000 per truckload Plus shipping there is a guaranteed $100,000 in retail value product. On this load and it can consist of some weight benches and excercise equipment Treadmills and more. You can ask us to remove the big stuff if you dont want to deal with shipping

We also have some Macys Department store Loads avaliable. You can contact us for a price. These loads usuallly have a quarter million or $250,000 in wholesale merchandise packed in them and we can only price these per truckload based on Macys estimated 24 pallet price at the time of sale. Its generally around 25% of wholesale. Plus we will charge a per pallet brokerage fee of $30.00. These macys loads are awesome and every item on the load is worth really good money. We have made a ton of sales over $100-$400 on single items in this kind of load.

I will also have a website up soon offering these truckloads but the prices will be a litle higher on this site. This offer is only for salehoo members. All others will have thier prices bumped $65 per pallet. So if your making an order you will have to provide your salehoo username in your emails.

A tip for those interested in pallets..
You will need approximately a 4x5 foot space for 1 pallet. So consider this in your equasions. You can easily hold 12 pallets in a 2 car garage.

If you order light you may unload by hand or we can arrange a liftgate delivery. This usually cost a little more for liftgate delivery.

Some people rent storage space so they can buy 1/2 truckloads. You will need approximately 25x10 feet for half truckloads. Then haul items they want to sell home from thier storage units. This can lower overhead costs a bit if you dont have a warehouse.

Also if you have more space like 53 feet by 12 feet you can store an entire 24 pallet truckload. You can use a loading dock or if you do not have a loading dock you can rent a forklift from most machinery rental companies for around $200 dollars and you can unload the truck yourself. You will need a pallet jack. Most home depots or Menards carry pallet jacks for around $185.00

Whichever your choice you have many options you can choose from. So for those that are interested please contact me. This offer is for salehoo members only. If you refer this info to a freind they must be a salehoo member or aquire a salehoo membership to aquire the price for this load I quoted.
