Does that mean I dont need a paypal account? I can select that as a payment option and people can send there paypal payments to my bidpay account?

yes, that's right. You don't need a PayPal account. BidPay is an outlet for Visa/Mastrcard payments. Even if your buyers have a paypal debit card they can use it there. Plus, their fees are cheaper. The only thing is that they don't link directly to UPS or the USPS for printing shipping labels. You would have to do that on your own.

I actually recommend you ditch bidpay as well. My first 3 transactions bidpay denied for no reason at all. Too much of a hassle.

I recommend you visit firstdata at ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** I use a real merchant account and have done over 300 transactions flawlessly with them. Thier rates are even lower then ebay and I have had several people say they prefer the security of using a real merchant account as well.

They will even link you to ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** which will link your linkpoint API directly with ebay so when buyers pay for thier items that your items are marked as paid.

Unfortunately, If your selling on Ebay, most of the buyers are frightened into using anything other than Paypal - Ebay claims its the only secure online payment - we all know its not!

I had my first two transactions denied by Bidpay but after I sent them the documents they requested, I never had problems then. They have good rates as well and after 24 hours, they funds is directly deposited into your bank.

They sure beat the hassle of having to transfer funds from your paypal account to your bank account. Ebay buyers I've dealt with haven't had any issues. I explain how to do everything in my auction details & they are okay with it. Anyway, a paypal card is a credit card too.
