Do weekends suck for sales for everyone?Do weekends suck for sales for everyone? I might be crazy but whenever i seem to list during the week, I almost always sell items and never have to relist. On the weekends it seems that prices drop and not so many sales. Is this common?
I think results may vary for everyone but for me it seems that Sunday is the better day. You can also try this calendar at ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members**

I agree with "wholesalelist101". Thank you for the nice calendar. The listing time of starting and ending is depend on the product you sell. The lists ending on weekend will end up a higher price for my most items. But for my DVDs selling, I get more sales on weekdays than on weekend.
Yes,i agree. That depends on the items you sell.

My sales increase at the weekend....you must be doing something wrong...
I personally find that closing items on sunday night bring the best prices on items. You can also get some quick sales if you close in the early mornings monday through wednsday around 7 AM. I tend to get alot of canadian bidders at that timeframe.

The best time for an auction to end depends on a number of things:
Popularity of the item - popular items like electronics will tend to have the usual busy periods sunday night. Target market - If you are aiming to target the market in another country you will need to work out the time difference and list accordingly. History - The times in the past when your items sold for more are generally the better times. You also need to know of any big events on in the year and plan around them, e.g Never end items on new years eve, you just won't get a good price. Hope this Helps!
Saturday & Sundays around 11pm are the best closing times for my auctions.
