Yeah I occasiaonlly get buyers that refuse to do buisness with me because they think paypal is secure. I just refer them to ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** and let them see how well thier favorite company is really doing.

I've tried a similar tactic, but I generally find they go and buy off someone whos offering Paypal.

As sellers, we all know how difficult Paypal/eBay can be....but its the buyers who know how to work the eBay/Paypal scam, sorry system....

A friedn of mine, sold a new laptop, got an upgrade at work and they just bought one for home! So they sold it on eBay, someone paid by paypal and said they would collect, however my firend didnt think anything of it, they collected the laptopn (but didnt get ID..) then within 30 minutes the transaction was reported as unauthorised access and the addres sthe buyer gave was false!

They lost the laptop and the £500! Shows you have to be 1 step ahead of the scammers on eBay!

Any paypal or ebay wont do a thing about it. However if you have a merchant account, since most of those transactions come from IP addresses in certain known scam flooded countries. You can actually block transactions from those countries.
