Thought you may want a heads up on this unique situation!

I have had several listings removed by a seller who claims I have infringed his patent - however I received an email from this same person stating I can resell the item due to me purchasing it from 1 of his "ASSOCIATES" (Smell something here?) So I purchjased for Associate. Then Ebay pull the listing - I relisted it telling the Powerseller support and it was pulled again - however I sold the item on Craigslist - NO FEES = NO HASSLE!

The thing is I tried to list some DVD's yesterday and it comes up with, I can only list a certain number due to counterfiet products - this I understand - so I called Powerseller Support - they told me it was due to me having my listings removed for the patent issue and listing 1 product in the wrong category?? As a powerseller I Should know better.

Needless to say, I can work around these issues...I have read that Paypal represents 25% of the profit/revenue for Ebay so does anyone know of an alternative to Paypal that can take US and UK payments, I am based in the UK.

My main plan is to build 3 sites with the products that sell well on Ebay and list the odd 1 on Ebay, but send the traffic to my site to buy and pay - I Know this is against Ebays TOS, but I have found a way and it's legit, just!

So, instead of paying Ebay £500-£750 per month in fees, thatll be extra profit. :D

I myself have switched to bidpay. Paypal is a complete joke. They tried to forceably hold over 23,000 in my paypal acccount for 180 days. While they collect interest of money that is not thiers.

Bidpay is great and they work with your checking or savings. I highly suggest using them.

Ditto. Use Bidpay and don't look back. Offer Paypal only as "optional" or don't offer Paypal at all type of deal.

Thanks folks, brilliant info - I am thinking of offering Paypal but at a 9% additional cost to ANOTHER payment.
