Hello to all. I recently purchased the domain razorshop.com.au The site is not up yet.

The site will sell razor blades (Gillette) in Australia and possibly with global shipping. I then plan to add additional products like electic shavers and other male skin care, shave care products.

At the moment I only have an Australian supplier for Gillette blades, which I can only sell at fairly low profit margins of about 20%.

I was wandering wheather I should add google adwords to my site or if this would make the site look cheap? I would appreciate comments and ideas about this business, thank you.

Hi mgs2,

In my opinion, you have to keep your eye on the objective - that is to sell and make profit. If you think the Google adwords will boost your sales and profits then by all means go for it whether or not it makes your site look cheap or not. If on the other hand your objective is just to show off your site and Google adwords are going to make it "uncool" then that's a different story.

By the way, I love the concept you have. Wish I can think of something like that as well.

Thanks for the reply. There are a number of fairly good competing websites in Australia who have a good sites up, here are a few:
