Starting out - any ideas for good products?

Post chris96camaro 17/08/2006 03:51

I just signed up a few hours ago, and I know i havent been looking very long but every product i have looked at so far has no chance of making a profit on ebay. And the shipping from these chinese companies is outrageous. Anybody have any ideas on what to look at to start off?

I signed up about a week ago and can not find any of the products i saw when i was browsing. Where should i look for the best deals and how do i know that all of these products are legit? If anyone has any ideas or comments i would greatly appreciate you sharing them with me.

:D Hey Chris, don't lose faith, often with chinese sellers you can negotiate the price or the shipping costs. Also, there are many good items throughout the site, that you can purchases and resell. It may take some digging but look closely and pay attention to items that are specials, closeouts, etc. Also, you need to look for a niche product, not necessarily a product that has tons of listings on ebay. Look for the items with few listings and good closing prices.

The site won't give you any free info. The site is just a forums with several ditributors on the site. Prices change daily and you won't always see the advertised price. Sometime you have to buy bulk in order to get the good prices as seen being advertised. Its a catch 22 really but this site is the most enjoyable for my money. Might not be the bets in the world but the people make it fun and enjoyable.

Yea, just give it some more time. There is lots of good stuff here, you just have to spend time and do different searches. The forum is a big help also! Before the forum, I was lost. LOL It's great to see people posting information about these sites, it changes my mind on some, and helps me to purchase from others. Good luck!
