    Hey sgr4679,

Well thats a real touchy matter considering he gave you his personal information to process his payment. Just a key point to remember, you should never take any personal info that a customer gives you because if they are sneaky they can turn on you and cause a whole lot of drama. The customer doesn't have to have a paypal account to pay you. All you need is his email address, then click the request money option in your Paypal account overview, then just follow the steps.

    Hope this helps!

I agree strongly with Don, taking somone,s personal cc info, is just asking for trouble. That is a good way to set yourself up for a bogus fraud claim.

The buyer could always just send you a money order.

    Hey sgr4679,

No, just a personal email address that they use, it doesn't have to be associated with ebay in no such way. In fact if you ever do selling on Craigslist, you can also use that request money option too. It's very straight forward and thats about all the credit I will give the folks over in Paypal!

Giving you their personal credit card information will serve you no good if you don't have a virtual terminal or offline card processing facilities to process the order anyway, but as Don has pointed out, they can still pay through PayPal without having an account.

I would be suggesting a bank transfer, easiest way of protecting yourself.
