    Getting started on Ebay...

hello, I'm just starting out this buy wholesale and resell on ebay thing. It's very frustrating, every item every a wholesaler sells is for about the same price as you could get on ebay. I've been searching for weeks now, I still can't find anything to get started with. I'm willing to pay from 500 to 700 dollars to get started, but so far, everything that I find I will break even or lose money with. Are there any tips you knoble resellers can give me?

You can also try marketing a product differently on eBay if you have competitors undercutting you. For example, use different keywords in your title than competitors, offer free shipping and charge more, put a video on your auction page... there's a lot you can do.

Thanks guys, big help! I do have one question though, how do you sell returns, you can't say they're new and they might not work or be damaged, seeing as they're returns.

For dealing with returns, make that you test them first before listing them so your buyers know what they are really bidding on. Be honest and list them accurately. If it is return then just let your bidders know that it is a return then tell them the good side. Oh and don't forget to take a good actual photos of the item as well. I hope this help.... =)
